Question: What transportation can I take from Incheon Airport to Camp Casey? I am civilian visiting my fiance that is stationed in Camp Casey. I am staying at Casey Lodge, I would like to know the quickest and safest way/transportation to get to Camp Case? How much would it cost? And what transportation is cost efficient?
Answer: That depends on what time of day that you arrive. If you arrive during the day and not too late in the evening, you may be able to take the USO bus to Yongsan and then switch to the Camp Casey bus there. The USO bus is free and the Myungjin Bus to Casey is about $4.00. This is the cheapest, but will take you about 2 hours...depending on traffic...to get to Camp Casey. Problem is, I think you need to produce a military ID or dependent ID to use those buses. However, is is the schedule for them:
http://www.rao-osan.com/retact/info/visitors/bussched.htm
Probably the best way in your case is to take a limousine bus from the airport to Uijeongbu (airport bus stops 2A & 8B, runs once/hour, 12,000 won)- the last stop is Uijeongbu Terminal. From there, take a bus to Dongducheon (maybe another 2,000 won?). Total cost is about $15 US and about a 90 minute bus ride.
The easiest would b for you to take a taxi, but I estimate it would cost you about $70-100 dollars for that trip, but at least it will get you there. Word of warning about the taxis...DO NOT accept a ride from a taxi where the driver has come into the airport looking for fares...they are "gypsy taxi" and they can charge anything. If you use a taxi, only use the official taxis that will be parked at the taxi stand outside. There will be dozens of them. They will be in 3 colors....silver, white and black. Do not use the black taxis as they are "special" taxis and are expensive, but they do have the best service.

Question: What are the transportation available from Lancaster PA to washington Dc and New york city? Hi, this is my first time going America. I will be staying lancaster PA for quite some time, would like to know what are the available transportation from columbia, Lancaster PA to Washington DC and New york City? And lastly how long will it take to reach the cities and the price for the transportation? Thanks a million.
Answer: It's your lucky day
Amtrak will get you from Lancaster PA "LNC" to Union Station in Washington DC" WAS " via a connection at the 30th St Station in Philadelphia
"PHL"
Once you reach either PHL or WAS then getting a train into NYC "NYP" is easy
The route between WAS and Boston "BOS " is Amtrak's most heavily traveled route and as such it gives you the greatest amount of trains to select from.
Amtrak offers something called a USA Rail Pass that you may find to be a good value.

Question: How do we fund transportation if we start using alternative fuels? Currently the vast majority of our transportation funding comes from the gas tax. How do we fund transportation when we no longer have vehicles that run on gasoline? Shouldn't this be addressed before we move away from a fossil fuels based economy?
Answer: Don't worry if there's a way they'll tax it.
Question: How good is public transportation in Chicago? I've never been there, but I was wondering how good the public transportation system in the city is? Could a person commute, say 10 miles, to work every day and rely on public transportation without encountering too many headaches?
Answer: Depends where. If you're working and living in the city itself, particularly in and around downtown, absolutely. It'd be far more convenient than a car. But as soon as you get out to the outskirts of Chicago, it gets a bit harder. The Metra trains are good, and reliable, but they only run on the hour (if that) and they're only good if they happen to go near where you happen to go.
For example, I used to work and live in the city and I took the elevated trains back and forth, and it was easy (even relaxing, because I could read on the way). But after a while I was living in the city and working in the far suburbs, and it was, unfortunately, faster to drive.
Question: What kind of public transportation does Seattle have? I am thinking about visiting Seattle next year. I am trying to decide whether to fly or drive, because it would probably be as cheap to fly there as it would be to drive. (I live in Oklahoma)But that means either renting a car or public transportation.
So I was wondering what type of public transportation there is to visit the area and how much it costs.
Answer: If you are staying in a downtown hotel for only a few days, I would recommend taking public transportation. There are plenty of shuttles from the airport - Grey line shuttles run every half hour from all the major hotels downtown. Most of the tourist sights are easily reached by walking, cab or the monorail. King county Metro buses are $1.25-1.50 depending on the time of day - And free in the downtown "core" of Seattle.
Now, if you are coming out here looking for a potential place to relocate to, or are staying outside of the downtown area; I would strongly recommend driving/renting a car. Because of the water and hills, riding the Metro bus to any of Seattle's neighborhoods can take a lot of time. Visit in April, the city is beautiful with the cherry blossom trees in bloom.
Question: What are modes of Transportation from Indiana to Kentucky? My brother and I are planning a trip back down home to good 'ol Kentucky from Purdue, and I need a list of transportation modes (ie Greyhound, AmTrak) to get there. Are their other methods of transportation besides these? Please help us!
-Michael G.
Answer: You don't say where in Kentucky you're heading--it's a large state.
Amtrak has one train that goes through Lafayette--the Cardinal. It goes between Chicago and DC, skimming along the Kentucky/Ohio border. If you wanted the far western part of Kentucky, you could go to Chicago and then get on Amtrak's City of New Orleans, which stops at Fulton, KY.
If you're interested in the central part of Kentucky, Amtrak won't be of much help to you.

Question: What kind of transportation did the chinese use to get from China to America during the California Gold Rush? What kind of transportation did the chinese use to get from China to America during the California Gold Rush?
Answer: When news of the Gold Rush reached Canton in 1848, thousands of young Chinese mortgaged their futures and boarded boats to "Gum Shan," or "Gold Mountain," as California was known.
It was a dangerous gamble, but they had little to lose: Canton (Kwangtung) province was torn by civil war, floods, droughts, typhoons and other disasters.
By 1852, 25,000 Chinese had reached Gold Mountain. The 1852 census showed 804 Chinese males and 10 females in Sacramento.
Question: What is the best transportation should I take from Mexicali to San Diego? I live in US and I know nothing about Mexico. I will go to Mexico in next few days. I will go to Mexico City and Mexicali. Please give me some suggestion for transportation and accommondation.
Answer: Take one of the tourist buses from Mexicali to Calexico or El Centro, both of which are on the California side of the boarder and then take Greyhound to San Diego. Your only other alternative would be to rent car on the US side and drive Interstate 8 to San Diego.
Question: How can I go about starting a transportation for people without medicaid? I know that no one owes me anything., and yes not to be rude I did alot of volunteer taking people including my deceased father from mcAllen tx when I was 15 to the VA hospital in San Antonio, while working and attending high school at the same time. I would like to get a transportation service because I can no longer drive. I am not making excuses. My husband is retired from the military the only reason we returned back to the valley was because he could no longer work. The township paid for such service out of the taxpayers money. Since we don't have this services I would like to start one. I will be getting in touch with the mayor soon to discuss the necessatiy of this service. I would like for more people respond to my question too. Does anyone know what question I should ask the mayer. One answer came to me the mayor should open a new budget system for this special transportation. Any respond will be welcome.
Answer: You need to first ask yourself who is paying for all of this? Is this a "for profit" service? Be sure you get a good business liability policy on you and your vehicles, and it may be too expensive for you, but good luck.
