Answer: hi from new zealand. if your a peoples person........be a domestic/industrial sparky....which has less risk as cash jobs can be done. and paid on spot.(sometimes). if u tender and win construction or property developer jobs you will not know the money backing they have or not have.sometimes a developer can deliberatly go bust after you done all hard work, supplying materials etc and then issue a tresspass order against u....then it will take years for you to get paid 20 cents or less in every dollar owing to you.........so who needs that!

I got a foundation degree in electrical and mechanical engineering(Philippines), also got years of experience as maintenance technician from one company back home. Answer: you should have basic knowledge of electromechanical machine like motar ,altornator (which you might have got in engineering so keep in touch with all those book )other most important thing is you should have better knowledge of electric software (for example : CAD ) for better understanding.In this type of software you can create many constraints and you can analyze the behaviour of electromechanical machine by applying those constraints on same .
