Question: Is it not time for Human Resources professionals to be fully conversant with technology? In these days of technological revolution there are so many professionals out there who are specializing in management courses irrespective of their technical education, knowledge and experience. And they are becoming asset to the organization where they work in since they have knowledge to handle both men and material efficiently. However, when it comes to human resource professionals there is a kind of laid back attitude found in them since they prefer to confine themselves with human resource aspects and nothing beyond that. But they still command the final say in the hiring process.Eventually, the businesses out there are losing out best candidates because of human resource professionals lack of knowledge and/or experience related to technological aspects.
Answer: Where I work, the Human Resources is at the end of the hiring process. The floor managers choose the candidates after they have been short listed. Then HR does the final background and education checks.
I do agree that many are not up-to-date on the workplace technology but I have also seen many persons with Master's degrees that have less PC skills than a high school graduate taking evening continuing ed. computer classes at a community college part time.
Question: How do the professionals determine whether a child's autism is mild, moderate or severe? I can't find a description of which particular behaviors separate the different classifications of autism. Is there an actual list the professionals follow to make this decision?
Answer: Depends on the testing procedures, how badly they fail. To put it in layman's terms, severe is an F, moderate, is D, mild is C. Depends on if it is a doctor or psychologist making the call
Question: What method do you think accounting professionals find most effective or beneficial? Many methods are used to maintain high ethical standards in the accounting profession, including government regulations, ethics course requirements in schools, and professional societies or associations that maintain codes of ethics. What method do you think accounting professionals find most effective or beneficial? What method do you think would be most effective for ensuring high ethical standards in the accounting profession? Question: What are your views on female working professionals tying their hair in ponytails? I mean 2 ponytails by the sides at the back. Normally, little girls like to tie their hair with 2 ponytails. It looks cute on them. What do you think of working adults? Is it acceptable for working professionals such as teachers, accountants or executives to tie their hair in this way? Does that make them look kiddy or unprofessional in any way?
Answer: I am going to have to say yes. It just doesn't fit for a working adult. I would go with one ponytail.
Question: How to reach retired professionals and housewives with professions are? need the info for my MK plan? I am doing my marketing plan for my work and targets are retired professionals and housewives who used to be professionals but choose to become full time housewives. I really do not have a clue where they are? how to reach them by different means or media. Anyone can give me a clue? thanks a lot.
Answer: Advertising on daytime TV seems to work well for Saga.
Many retired professionals are online, so do a pay per click campaign on search engines with relevant search terms.
Inserts in magazines and publications read by your target audience
Many professionals keep up membership of their professional bodies even after retiring or leaving the workforce, do a mailing through these bodies
Affiliate programmes with sites dedicated to older people and stay at home mothers
Question: How do professionals determine whether a child's autism is mild, moderate or severe? I can't find a description of which particular behaviors separate the different classifications of autism. Is there an actual list the professionals follow to make this decision or is it subjective?
Answer: There is nothing in the diagnostic manual used by healthcare professionals designating the severity of the autism, so that would be something being used by a particular professional or clinic as a descriptor. I would then think that it is a non-standardized description indicating something about the magnitude of the impairment.
Question: Why are professionals allowed to play basketball in the Olympics? And, are there any other olympic sports that allow professionals to play, and why?
Answer: Because everyone was sending their professionals every time and the USA was sending amateurs. The USA got tired of the lack of parity and changed their stance on it. The IOC had nothing to say about it because everyone else was sending their pros.
Question: Emergency Medical Professionals: How often do you get male patients that are wearing panties? I asked this question already, but I accidentally resolved it before I was ready. So here goes...
My mother always said "Wear clean underwear everyday. You never know when you'll be in an accident."
There appears to be a lot of men wearing panties these days and I was wondering how common it is that doctors, nurses, and EMT's discover that their emergency patients (males) are wearing ladies underwear. Do you and your colleagues get a nice chuckle out of it?
Non-emergency medical professionals, how often do your male patients show up in your office and flash their panties?
Answer: I wear female thongs 24/7 and i was at the doctors 2 weeks go for a flu jab i thought i would get it in my arm but i was taken aback when SHE said trousers down and gave me it in the hip, when i dressed she just said "nice panties but dont be so shy as i see LOTS of men wearing female undies"
