Application Support Career Guide and Counseling

Question: Where do I go to download Windows Help and Support application ? Start-Help and Support does not exist. I have reloaded Windows XP but it is still missing. Where can I download this very useful application? Any ideas anyone....PLEASE. Thank you I tried the right click start, properties classic etc. Unfortunately the Help and Support was already ticked. I wish I had better news. What now? Any alternatives?

Answer: Right-click on your start button. Click properties on the menu that opens up. Make sure your selection on this page is for Start Menu (NOT CLASSIC). If it is not, select this option & click apply. Further, once you have done this, you can click the customize button & click on the advanced tab in the new properties window. Scroll down a bit in this window & you will see Help & Support. Make sure there is a check mark in the box next to this & click ok. Now, when you click on the start button, Help & Support should be there. ************** EDIT ************** Did you select Classic Start Menu, or Start Menu? You should choose Start Menu. Also, if you go to the control panel, if you have the common tasks enabled on the left hand side, you should see Help & Support, as well. If you don't have common tasks enabled, then click on the Tools menu & click Folder Options. Under General>Tasks, you'll see two options. One is show common tasks in folders (select this one) & the other is use classic folders.

Question: What information is required when you have to write a support letter to a job application? I would love to be pointed to some kind of online guide to wrting letters to support job applications.

Answer: do you have a job spec? if so use that a guideline. they usually list what they want under education, skills, experience. stick to that template and explain how you fit their criteria. put their headings in to that way it looks more structured and they can tick off your skills. i recently had to do one and did it that way - got an interview - dont know if i'll get the job, but the cover letter must have looked good at least. dont simply repeat whats on your CV elaborate upon it. good luck XX if u email me i'll send u a guide of what i did.

Answer: it would depend on the type of application, but should include: - extracting statistics - providing user support upon request - operating some ticketing support system - provide suggestions for bugs creation and/or application - help with regular upgrades and new systems launch

Answer: Jenny: In UK financial aid language, "support an application" is selected when someone is filling in the form to offer their financial information to support the application of a student who has already applied. When the student applies, he/she is asked whether they will be providing financial information for a "sponsor" - if they say yes, they are given an "Alias ID" that they must pass on to their sponsor. When the sponsor completes the application, they must provide that Alias ID to ensure that their information is linked to the student's application. Apply for support, like the term suggests, is when you, as the student, want to apply for consideration for financial aid. "Both" is used when the student and his/her "sponsor" (generally a parent or spouse) are sitting down together, preparing to complete the application at the same time. Hope that helps you! Question: Do I include maintenance payments in OU financial support application? I'm starting an Open University course in October and have applied for financial support for course fees. However, I can't find any advice on whether to include maintenance payments for the children in the household income section - does anyone know??

Answer: I presume that this is from the OU itself? Usually you get help with your course fees if you are on disability or other benefits but not otherwise but they are really nice, give them a call.

Answer: you have a second CPU? normally only servers have duo processor. anyways, much like duo-core. multi-threads would take advantage of duo-processor. in other words, multi-tasking.
