Question: How do I transfer the Adobe Photoshop installer to an external hard drive? I want to put photoshop on my netbook, which doesn't have a CD rom. I wanted to put the installer on my external hard drive but there a several installers on the disk. Which one do I transfer to the hard drive so I can install it on my netbook?

Answer: Make an .iso (disc image) file from the original disc and save it on your external hard drive. Mount the drive with your netbook and then mount the .iso file using Daemon Tools. This will make your netbook think that you have mounted the CD or DVD so you can install the program without worrying about which installer to copy.

Question: Why do Ms Office installer gets poped up everytime i open the internet explorer? Every time a new window of the internet explorer gets opened this ms office installer gets coming up.I cant get it installed also.Someone please help.

Answer: there is a lot of info about the installer on youtube. but it voids ur warenty but its totally worth it but there is a new version 2.0.0 and it comes with the app store it has a lot but not as many selections. the installer can mess upp ur ipod so u have to restore it alot mor often. hope this help[s

Question: How do you find a window installer? All of the companies out there sell their own windows. We can buy some of the windows much cheaper at Habitat for Humanity resale shops, but we don't have the time to install them ourselves. How do I find a reputable installer? I live in the Chicago area. I don't want to deal another salesman, I just want the windows I buy to be installed properly.

Question: How do you fix the windows installer problem? I have a problem on my computer with windows installer, I have seen many answers posted on the web yet none of them work. I have an error that pops up stating for me to make sure I am not in safe mode, stating that I do not have access etc. It pops up no matter what. Help Please?

Answer: Make sure that you have administrator privilege. You won't be able to always install program if you have a limited user account. Go to 'Start', 'Control Pannel', 'User Accounts' It could be either 'Computer Administrator' or 'Limited account' If it's a limited account change it to 'Computer Administrator' and then try to install your program

Question: How do you stop a window installer attempting to install a program you have no need of? Whenever I startup my PC windows auto installer attempts to install a fax program. I have no fax and no need of this program. How do I terminate this process so it doesn't resurface at a later date?

What would be considered appropriate attire? The job requires mostly outdoor work, should I take this into account when I decide what to wear?

Answer: Clothes DO make the person and saying otherwise just shows someone has no clue how the world works. anyhow, wear nice slacks, a button down shirt with no tie and nice shoes, no not tennis shoes, wear shoes that belong with a suit.

Question: Is it necessary to tip a floor installer? We are having a Home Depot installer coming in to install wood floors, do we need to tip them?

Answer: I don't think it's necessary. But if they do a really good job, work really fast, or are particularly friendly, then it would be a nice gesture.

Question: How come Ipods nowadays are sold without an installer or boxes? They're placed in a small see-through container and not in a box anymore, not having an installer.

Answer: to reduce packaging size for shipping to help the environment you get more iPods to a destination if the packaging is smaller so more fit

Answer: Ok,usually it is fine to have this program.I also have it.You can uninstall software more easy if you don it later. Now if you want to disable it when you open the computer,just get CCleaner.It has an option where it shows which programs are executed at windows start up.Also it will clean all errors and registry unwanted entries. If the problem goes on then you should do a virus scan.

Question: How can i fix my windows installer and my windows explorer? my windows installer is broken so i tried to install a new one and now my explorer is broken too. the bar at the bottom of the screen will only periodically show up and certain aspects of it wont work. my installer is still broken. how can i fix these things.

Answer: Press Ctrl + Alt + Del, simultaneously. Choose Task Manager. Choose the Application Tab at the top. Click the "New Task..." button. To the new box type in "explorer.exe", without the quotes. Press Enter. Connect to Internet and get the installer you said is in trouble. See if that fixed the issue you faced. Hope it helps Steve

Question: How do I get Sims2Pack Clean Installer to be my default installer? I reinstalled all of my sims 2 software and now Sims2Pack Clean Installer is not my default Installer, i like that one because I can preview my downloads. Please help, I have Sims2Pack Clean Installer on my desktop just can't figure out how to get it to override the Sims2Content Installer.

Answer: I use it that way too, and I remember once a long time ago that it messed up for me too. I don't remember now what actually caused it, but probably doing what you did. I finally ended up uninstalling it and then going to the site and downloading and installing it again. Then it just seemed to work. So, I just went to the site and in the manual, it says that when you install the program, that one of the things it will do is automatically sets itself to be the default package installer. I guess you can also "associate" the files to it, but I'm not quite sure how to do that, so I would recommend that you uninstall and reinstall the sims2pack cleaninstaller again. This is taken from the manual: -------------------------------- Installation Before installing the program for the first time, make sure you have the latest version of the Microsoft .NET Framework installed. If you are upgrading or reinstalling the program, you must first remove the current version of S2CI from your system. NOTE: When you install S2PCI, the program sets itself to be the default package installer. If you want to return to the Maxis package installer, you must manually change the file association for .Sims2pack files. (Search Windows Help for information on associating files.) For 1) What hours do installers usually work till... 2) Is there any ladder work or work involving heights for the installations...3) How many jobs might you get per day..4) Are these 1 man or 2 man jobs... Answer: let it install, its a windows update Microsoft sends regularly free software like IE 7.0, Windows Media Player 11, a new service pack, new antivirus.... I wouldnt recommend you to stop it
