Answer: apprenticeships began to be regulated in the trade guilds of Medieval times
Question: What are the obligations of apprentice on the vessel? Are vessels sank coz of apprentices wrong manifulation? I was observed before while traveling to manila, the apprentices only were manipulated the vessel after an hour since it was departed for 24 hours journey, while the captain and his mates where enjoying at the Bar on the ship with their respective girl friends.
Answer: I disagree with the previous answer. The coastguard can give recommendations but is NOT RESPONSIBLE for the vessel moving out. RESPONSIBLE is the master (Captain) and by extension the Owner (company). The master or Captain does not have to be on the bridge at all times, however he remains responsible for the actions taken by a LICENSED OFFICER under this command. The usual crew complement includes 3 officers and only one of them is required to keep watch during the regular travel of the vessel (they take 4 hours shifts called "watch").
Apprentices (or cadets) are there to learn and study under the careful guidance of the officers. Apprentices are there to assist and to learn. They are not left without supervision.
There are extensive regulations guiding the safe operation of vessels and today shipping companies, officers and master observe these regulations. Despite observation of all rules and regulations, at sea like in road traffic, accidents can occur. An accident involving the loss of life is very tragic. However, it seems irresponsible to me to point fingers and even worse to point them in the wrong direction. A proper investigation will be carried out by professional experts, if fault can be attributed they will.
As a master and trainer I would also like to note that in many cases it is most recommendable as good practise to take a vessel out to sea in a storm since there the vessel can weather the storm actively. As opposed to just being a "sitting duck" in the port that has a storm passing where the vessel has only one option, to rely on the mooring lines holding it to the shore. No fixed rule, professional judgement and experience are required.
Question: apprenticeship for avionics system maintenance in america..is there any company who hire apprentices? or is there any airlines or aviation company in the world ,who is ready to take international apprentices in the field of avionics system maintenance?
Answer: I have never heard of an apprenticeship for avionics techs but that doesn't mean they don't exist. On the job training is probably as close as you will get to this kind of training.
There are aviation electronics schools that you can attend to get avionics training. I went to a school so I could learn about the various avionics systems. The link is just something I googled but you might want to contact each school individually before applying to see what classes are offered and what is right for you. Of course location is probably a big key too.
Like that above poster, I too got my A&P license from a 2 year program. If you don't have any military or previous airline or airplane maintenace experiece, this is worthwhile training. The only thing I don't like about the A&P course is it is really geared to small (GA) general aviation aircraft. You will touch on some things for commercial (heavy) aircraft but not much. Do your research to find one that has both.
Being schooled in both avionics systems and A&P portions of aircraft will make you a top prospect in this field.

Question: Working hours of apprentices during the Renaissance? For example, how long would Da Vinci or Michealangelo have spent training/working each day during their apprenticeships from ages 14-20 ish? What were normal working hours for an apprentice and how much practice would they have had by the time they finished training and became masters?
Answer: An apprentice would have worked 14 hours a day, and maybe a day off on Sunday.......but then, maybe not. You do the math.......30,000 hours of practice. No wonder they were so good!
Question: Do funeral Director apprentices get paid like a regular job? I really want to become a funeral director/embalmer but the one year of apprenticeship is very worrisome. I can't do the job if I have to go a whole year without pay. Can someone tell me a little more about the job and if it pays well?
Answer: Yes, they get paid a low wage. Just speak to the local funeral homes to find out how much in your area.
Question: Should the government legislate to force employers to pay apprentices the minimum wage? http://www.guardian.co.uk/education/2008…
One of our friends has a son who is working as an apprentice. He has seen people only hired as apprentices for cheap labour and get fired once they complete the apprentice period. Should they be protected?
Answer: That is not the point of an apprenticeship, an apprenticeship is a journey in the middle ages a lad was put to a craft in one of the guilds, that la d served his time, and only when that tradesman said he was fit to move on he was then called a journeyman, only after about 10 years of journeying bid that man then become a craftsman, it is a modern idiom that apprentices stay as craftsmen in the same company and even to day usually only the best are invited to stay and become skilled employees, it may well be that this employer is a bad one but the good thing is that this lad has learnt a skill that will earn him a living for the rest of his life, and now he can go and find a good employer.
Question: Warriors series by Erin Hunter question about medicine cat apprentices? When a medicine cat apprentice earns his or her warrior name who performs the ceremony; the clan leader or the medicine cat? I know there is a scene in the "New Prophecy" series where "Leafpaw" becomes "Leafpool", but I don't own a copy of that book so I can't check. Please help!
Answer: Yes, the medicine cat does do the ceremony.
Question: in the warriors cat series, how old are apprentices when they become warriors? or does it matter only if their ready to become warriors?
ready=skilled enough...
