Question: What are the statistics for scientists and global warming? What percentage of scientists think that global warming is caused by humans? Please tell me your sources because I don't want any biased BS.

Answer: Regarding the following study, http://tigger.uic.edu/~pdoran/012009_Dor… The survey was sent to *only* scientists at universities or government institutions. Over 2/3 of PhD graduates (scientists) enter the private sector, i.e. not universities or government institutions. I think it is fair to say that academia and government workers are decidedly "liberal" and tend to take on the AGW support role. While I doubt that the majority of the scientists who enter the private sector qualify as "conservative" the report neglects the vast majority of scientists. This is what statisticians would call a biased result, in other words a result that should be taken only at face value and for nothing more.
