Question: a written decription of how to worked safely when carring out an operation involing a mechanical assembly? to include the different stages of the process.
Answer: Good house keeping, you should first be sure that your work area is clear of any obstacles that may be a hindrance to you.
Preparations, try to organise your tools and equipment being sure that you can get to everything you need.
Check all your tools, PPE and equipment is in good working order.
Start by laying out the components you are about to assembly in such a way as reflect how they are going to go together, starting with components that will create larger components for your assembly.
If it wont react to any substance with in your system it is a good idea to use copper grease on you bolts.
Don't try to force components together, there is usually some way to make it easy (heat is always a good way to expand metals for a short time though you should be sure it wont have a detrimental effect on the item in question.)
If I knew what you were trying to assembly it would have been easier.
remember your lifting techniques and to be aware of anything happening around you.
Question: how do you reach the mechanical assembly to repair upright pianos? keys out, but the mechanism that propels the hammer to the string how does that lower, or come back so that i can reset some of the hammers
Answer: You have to unscrew the whole assembly and pull it out.
There should be 4 or more thumbscrews that will loosen the action frame from the harp.
Good luck.
When all else fails, call your tuner/technician.

Question: where to find something about Mechanical parts Assembly Sequence Planing using Neural Networks ?? where to find something about Mechanical parts Assembly Sequence Planing using Neural Networks ??
Answer: look on google
Question: I hate the "maquila" (assembly industry) where else can I work as a Mechanical engineer?
Answer: Mechanical engineers show up in all companies that produce products.
Even companies that produce electronics need mechanical engineers to design the cases that the circuit boards get mounted into.
These are desk jobs where you'd use your drafting/CAD skills. You won't have to be "on the assembly line" every day in this work. You may have to talk to a shop foreman fairly often, but your workspace, your desk, will probably be in an office location.
Aerospace companies use M.Eng.'s all the time, again, you'd work at a desk most of the time doing drafting.
If you have experience with pumps and valves, you can get into fluids, and again, that would be a desk job away from manufacturing, using software like IDEAS and Solid Works to develop plans and drawings for the manufacturing people.
Architectural companies are probably similar.
Computerized drafting skills are always in demand.
Try searching on careerbuilder.com using keywords like drafting and CAD.
Remember, you want a *big* company because they have enough resources to divide the engineering staff from the production staff, and keep those people separate.
In small companies, the senior engineers get shifted into double-duty as managers and have more contact with the actual manufacturing workers.
You don't absolutely need a college degree, if you know how to use CAD programs.
Question: Mechanical seal leakage due to secondary seal? In a mechanical seal assembly the secondary seal material (non metallic) is less harder than the shaft material, then how the shaft seating area of secondary seal is get grooves and get damaged and start seal leakage.
Answer: #PUSHER:
Incorporate secondary seals that move axially along a shaft or sleeve to maintain contact at the seal faces. This feature compensates for seal face wear and wobble due to misalignment. The pusher seals' advantage is that it's inexpensive and commercially available in a wide range of sizes and configurations. Its disadvantage is that ft's prone to secondary seal hang-up and fretting of the shaft or sleeve. Examples are Dura RO and Crane Type 9T.
-A pusher mechanical seal incorporates a secondary o-ring; for example, that is responsible for sealing the fluid path between the pump shaft and the inside diameter of the rotating seal face. As the seal face wears and is hydraulically; by stuffing box pressure, and mechanically; by means of spring tension, compressed against the stationary face the o-ring moves along the pump shaft to accommodate this wear and assist in the absorption of shaft misalignment.Realizing the secondary sealing o-ring is in a dynamic state during pump operation its ability to be somewhat resilient is critical. Being in this dynamic state the secondary seal material must be nearly 100 percent compatible with the fluid in the stuffing box, any swelling or hardening due to incompatibility or temperature can result in pump shaft or sleeve wear and a leak path between the secondary sealing member to atmosphere will develop.
Avoid dry running and vapour locking during running condition.
Question: Can someone easily explain how aircraft oxygen systems work? (basically the basic functions that someone can relate that is not familar on how ANY mechanical assembly system functions)
Answer: Chris has it right. Sorry Chappie, but you're both right and wrong on this one. The "strings", or lanyards as they are properly called, from each mask is attached to the same pin, because there is only one oxygen generator per panel. The first one that pulls the mask pulls the pin and activates the generator. All the masks are supplied at the same time whether or not they are being used, but don't worry there is plenty of oxygen available there.
Question: What would you like to ask? What is the cheapest/alternative way to make plastic molds? We are trying to make electronic device. the engineering company telling us a huge huge cost for the plastic molding and small mechanical assemblies; that's XX times of the whole design design cost. Is there any cheap way to make these for prototyping.
Answer: Some companies first make very basic models from wax. It is cheap, easy to work with, handy, and could be done at home! Good luck. Hope i helped..

That was an interesting link.
Thanks to Omega3 and any more..?
Answer: Try " Hammond " ABS see-thru boxes , and put detail (logo ; graphics etc ) on card inserts.
Question: Where can I get an inexpensive 2D Mechanical Design Program? Mechanical Part design. Assembly optional.
Answer: I use this for creating blueprints : http://www.cadstd.com/index.html the free version. it works for me ... may be a bit short on features the pro version is cheap i would say
Question: Are any companies interested in outsourcing assembly of solar products? I am aprofessional mechanical engineer and would like to start my business with solar systems in India.I will provide the necessary infrastructure an ensure quality of the product.
Answer: no clue sorry
