Question: Is there anyone who knows the job outlook of "certified pension consultant"?

Answer: Given that the baby boomers are just starting to retire, and that group of people worked in a generation in which pensions were the focus of retirement planning (unlike today's jobs, which primarily rely on self-funded retirement plans like 401(k)s), I would think that certified pension consultants will be in demand for the next 20 years or so.

Question: if I'm made redundant or take early retirement can I then work as a consultant for the same firm? I'ma male age 61 and my firm want to make me redundant and give me my pension early. But they need me to help with a project later this year. Is there any legal reason why they can't employ me as a consultant on a part-time basis?

Answer: Is this a real job or an over inflated title for something else? You need to check out your employment contract, why is there no stakeholder pension provision for starters? At your review you should ask to have the job market rated for starters, they should be paying you the same rate roughly and thats not the amount you claim you are earning! Is there a HR department, speak with someone there about getting your role market rated and sorting a stakeholder pension out. If there's no provision, then register yourself with reputable agencies and look for another role where you have the provisions and the correct rate of pay Begin work on preparing for your appriasal, its a two way event, not simply your manager stating how good/bad you are, begin collating the projects/accounts you manage and how well you have managed them, where there's room for development and where you excell in the role, where you have given above and beyond the role description, sell yourself all over again, make the point they are getting exceedingly good value for money and that you are worth more, collate how much money you have brought into the company and possibly where you have saved the company money in managing your costs effectively

Answer: Has to be an estate agent, just for the sheer pleasure of being sooooo nosey in other peoples houses. Lol

Question: Would it be beneficial to have a system like in the film Logans Run where peole have a decent life then ? have to be put to sleep at a certain age ,or in Englands case all the feckless, seriously ill,homeless are people without pensions .. Answer: I can't see how it would be beneficial to society to have a system like in Logan's Run... if you remember correctly, that city is pretty much run off of the hormonal, sexual impulses of the society. A transporter that people can flip through to pick out their preferred sexual partner? Systematically killing people off when they reach a certain age? Where are the "elders" of the society, and how will that society progress if the people are, pretty much, kept in the dark intellectually, and live day-to-day based on an over-all sexual nature? Really. It's highly illogical.

Can anyone advice on this His experience He is 35 and has had 10 years academic experience in environmental field. The consultancy It is a small 12 person consultancy doing thing like: thought leadership, brand and marketing strategy, growth strategy, executive insight, due diliigence etc There are three levels in the firm: Top- Directors, Middle- Consultant / project managers, Low- freelancers who do the ground research, interview, date gathering etc His job He will be middle level consultant / project manager. He will do things like: some sales to bring in projects, meet clients for briefings, project manage, research, analyse data, write up and present results and advise clients amongst other things. Also because of his experience he has been asked to train people in the firm to develop corporate due diligence and for him to also try and develop an environmental consulting arm in the firm.
