Question: Is my life insurance advisor have licence to do policy? i want to know that is there any web site where i can check that my insurance advisor is having licence issued by IRDA
and that is valid also.
Answer: Your worry is valid. Sometimes agents hire subagents who do business on their behalf. Then the main agent now is not responsible for any goof-up done by sub agent & he can wash his hand. You should ask the person for the certificate & also check with the insurance company if he is directly enrolled with them. If direct enrolement is there, he will be a irda certified agent.
Question: How can i file my IT Returns in india as Insurance Advisor? Hi1 I am doint job in Private sector as well as I have a License for Life insurance. Now, I have 2 types of income i.e. Monthly Salary and Insurance Commission. for that how can i file my IT Return that includes both the Incomes ????
Answer: Yes your insurance commission income will be termed as other incomes and you will have to show both the type of incomes in your returns. You can also classify it as a Business income and take eligible deductions for service to your clients.
Question: How would you become a veterinary insurance advisor? Do you have to have veterinary experience to do it? What is the salary like? Sorry lots of questions!
Answer: I would imagine that the emphasis is on the Insurance, but that some veterinary skills would be a bonus. You'd be a professional accountant/insurance advisor first and interested in animals second.
It's a very specific career path to choose though. You can't guarantee that you'd get to do exactly what you wanted to do.
Question: Anybody interested for insurance advisor and earn good money in mumbai?
Answer: no
Question: I am a Silver grade Insurance advisor in ICICI Prudential. How can I get some NRIs to become my customers?
Answer: If you expose your self online with a website, email Id you can get NRI customers. Your service must be prompt and excellent. NRIs are not fools to believe everybody online.
They have the capablility of checking everything online and before they get into any contract they cross verify and decide.
If your service is excellent and prompt to every query without expecting the order, then sure you will get NRI customers after some time.
For your information, I have 3 100% satisfied NRIs in my client list, whom I have never seen in person.
If you have sufficient knowledge about your products to explain to your customers, you can win online.
good luck

Question: What is an insurance advisor? While I was searching yahoo questions and answer for a work at home job,I saw an answer to a question in careers and employment mention the job insurance advisor, what is an insurance advisor? Is this selling insurance?
I am a caregiver and I am limited to working when and where I want so I am looking for a real online job. I am also finishing up an online course I took in medical transcription, but that is going to take a while to learn the job. Meanwhile because I can only work part time outside the home in the medical field,I am searching for an online fulltime job.
Answer: An insurance advisor does NOT sell insurance. For a pre-negotiated fee, they will review your insurance setup, do a risk analysis, and make recommendations.
An insurance broker sells insurance, working on behalf of the client. An insurance agent, sells insurance, working on behalf of the company. Some insurance "advisors" are also agents and brokers - some agents and brokers call themselves "advisors". Some states define and regulate "advisor" as a different class than selling insurance. The problem is, it frequently means different things to different people, and each state regulates insurance independently.
Most of the time, an insurance advisor works with large, commercial accounts, and has years and years of experience. Most states require that you have an insurance license.
This is not going to be much of an online job - because you'll be in client's offices, reviewing their paperwork, and meeting with agents and brokers. Also, depending on your clients, you may very well have overnight travel.
You're not going to find someone willing to hire someone with no experience to do this as an at home job, sorry.

Question: In Scotland what is meant if a mortgage advisor/insurance agent's business is in default with the FSCS? A number of years ago a so called friend , now deceased did the dirty with us and we lost a lot of money. It seems now he did dodgy dealings for another friend which has now just came to light. On searching the Internet for information the company of the deceased person is on a list of defaulters with the FSCS. Obviously not the same as being bankrupt but does is mean the company could have been found out to be involved in scams etc?
Answer: FSCS deals with claims against authorised firms (those regulated by the Financial Services Authority) that are unable, or likely to be unable, to pay claims against them. This will generally be because a firm has stopped trading and has insufficient assets to meet claims, or is in insolvency. We describe this as being in default.

Question: how to recruit insurance advisor? I m working in Insurance company. I want to know about recruiting strategy of advisor.
Answer: It is a slow process to develop a base of customers. First of all when you write a policy for a new customer always ask them if they know someone who might be interested in the product you just sold them.
Another thing is that you let everybody that you come into contact with know what you do. That would mean anybody, the cashier at the restaurant you frequent, the auto mechanic that you just paid for repairs to your car, the owner of the dry cleaner where you just dropped off your suit, the people you have lunch with. Simply everybody you come into contact with.
It doesn't happen over night but if you are diligent it might work out.
Good Luck!
Question: When i bought my flat two years ago the mortgage advisor signed me up for buildings insurance.? I have recently discovered that im paying building isurance through the management company that run the lease for the land lord. Would the mortgage advisor have known this? Im told that if you have lease hold property then the building insurance is taken through the Land Lord. Any advise would be greatful.
Answer: Provided that you weren't buying the freehold, and I assume from your question that you weren't and the property is leasehold, then the advisor should have known this or asked the question. It would be highly unusual for you to be expected to pay for the buildings insurance separately - after all, what part of the building are they hoping to insure? A percentage of the foundations, roof and walls?
It will have been a condition of your mortgage that buildings insurance is in place and your solicitor is obliged to check that it is in place before allowing contracts to be exchanged. He/she probably asked to see a copy of the schedule from the management company.
It is definitely advisable to have contents insurance however.
I would contact the original mortgage advisor and explain that you bought a leasehold flat and that he/she should have known that you would not require buildings insurance, and request a refund. They may refuse you a refund and say that you should also have known - but to be fair you're only going to know if someone tells you, and gives you the right information - in which case you can forward your complaint to the Financial Ombudsman Service.
Regards.
