Question: What does a manager do when an employee claims of being sexually assaulted but no video evidence?
Answer: I would call the police. Let them figure out what really happened.
And I would next call HR and get instructions from them.
Question: Any Houston based claims managers overly pleased with the quality of adjusters with their carrier? Follow-up and reducing company expenses is the issue. I need a w/c insurance provider that is really going to work with me in managing my claims. Identifying fraud red flags, documentation in their claims system, contacting me in a timely fashion, etc. I'm talking about a program with adjusters that go above and beyond. Loss prevention would be nice as well built into our premium. A program that thinks outside the box. Not just some generic pdf documents on their website.
Answer: Stay away from AIG and State Farm...
The Hartford, Travellers and Allstate are all excellent providers who take loss assessment, management and reduction very seriously. A+ Am Best ratings are testament to that. Their loss ratios are industry tops.
Question: How does one handle a dispute over a charge with their apartment manager? Our apartment manager is billed from the city for our utilities and then directly bills us for that amount. There was an extremely high bill of $600 last month and myself and my three roommates were billed for that amount. The city came out and read the meter and said that the meter was correct, however a city official also said that the thermostat in our apartment was broken. Our manager then purchased a new thermostat for us. We asked that some compromise be made on the bill, being as the broken thermostat was not our fault and we could not correctly regulate the thermostat because it was broken. Our manager is refusing to do this saying that it is our fault that the bill was so high because we incorrectly set the thermostat and is now saying that the thermostat was not defective. The manager claims he has spoken with the owner of the apartments and will not let us speak to the owner directly. How do we go about handling this dispute or filing a complaint?
Answer: Is there a written contract between you and the apt owner/mgr? Does that agreement state that you will be responsible for all utilities and then a list of those? I'm sorry to say that I think you may get stuck simply because your manager wasn't notified that the thermostat might not be working right, didn't you notice a difference, is this a large older home?I know that mine is currently not operating correctly because of the heat flutuations, it's only set on 60, but you get cookin just sitting around, so I know it's broken. Payday will fix that, but in the meantime the thermostat is constantly having to be checked. It's also unfortunate that your manager doesn't have the authority to give you some slack on the bill, I would think you have some options regarding payment. It sounds like this is run through a property management, correct? If that is the case, I think a kind heart is the last emotion you're going to see, outside help will be needed. There should be financial help available through your community. Good luck.
Question: wht does it mean when geico said they wll cll you bck in 3 dys, they hve to give ur info 2 the claims manager.?
Answer: It means, wll cll you bck in 3 dys, they hve to give ur info 2 the claims manager.
Question: Why does the EA Manager claim it installed my game when it clearly didn't? I bought several EPs for the Sims 2 off its website, where I was allowed a direct digital download. Interestingly enough, it says it finished installing, and I have the option to press play, but when I enter the game, the EPs I downloaded aren't there at all. What gives? The EA's support page didn't help at all.
Answer: Try uninstalling them and then redoing the download.
It may be that you can only play them while you are on-line, but I don't think that is the issue.
I bought BF2142: Northern Strike as a DDL (since at the time that was the only way it was available), and have had no problems with it except for one issue about patching...and that had nothing to do with the DDL.
Good Luck!
Question: I want to file a claim against my landlord and manager? I live in an apartment and my water is always either too hot or too cold. Its ridiculous. My manager keeps saying that he will fix it, but he hasn't and it has been few months now! He didn't even tell the landlord and is not giving the land lord's address for us to complain. I want to file a claim against them, but I don't know who to contact. Please help me out. Thank you in advance.
Answer: I assume you can't just move out, like the other responder suggested. Most people have leases, and moving is time consuming and expensive.
Your best bet, aside from hiring a lawyer, is to contact the court clerk's office in your county. A lot of times they will have some type of form for filing claims, or if not they may be willing to help in some other way. This is almost certainly a small claims matter, so you shouldn't need worry too much about proper form and legalese. Most small claims/general sessions judges understand that you're not an expert and you'd spend more on a lawyer than you would win from the case.
Question: What do you feel when you know that your manager claimed your work as his infront of your big boss?
Answer: It happens unfortunately....
How much does this work mean to you or the company you work for?
You need to asses that answer and see how you want to play it.
You should approach your boss about it, I wouldn't say to your big boss though. It would seem like brown nosing. Even if it wasn't
Question: So the Newcastle managers Grave yard claims another casualty ? 4 managers in 4 years just who would risk their reputation in this type of environment ?
Just why cant they have/keep a settled manager is there a reason for these stats ?
Answer: I really don't know. Maybe the board are struggling? I mean they're an all right team and I thought Kevin Keegan would be the right man for the job. Turns out they didn't think so though. I support West Ham and Curbs seems to be having pressure put on him too, but I think he's doing all right. Managers should be given more of a chance. Newcastle bosses seem to just want results straight away and if they don't get it, they ain't happy.
Question: looking for web site on claims managers association in canada?

Question: Does anyone know the phone number for Disney's Guest Claims department? I had a major problem at WDW recently and have received a claim number by the store manager, but I have no way to followup on it. And trying to find company phone numbers is virtually impossible. Even from inside the park, it was very hard to get to managment.
The main Disney number just brings just brings you to Guest Services. I need Guest Claims. I reported a problem but no one has responded and I need to call them to followup. Thanks in advance!
Answer: If it at DisneyWorld in FL then you should be able to call 407 W DISNEY at the end it gives you the option to speak to a rep. Then you can ask them specifically they might know claims #

Question: How much does an assistant manager at a small retail store in a mall make? I have a "friend" who works at E.B. Toys in the mall and claims to make about 800 bucks a week as an assistant manager. He is a giant liar, so your help would be appreciated in proving him to be said liar.
Its in CT. We have a state minimum wage of I think 7.40. If that helps thanks.
Answer: Well, first it depends where the mall is located... But I can tell you that $800 a week does sound like a bit much for an assistant manager...
Question: How to fire a Private Equity Manager that was not successful in getting funding and did not actively pursue it? A. Negotiated 20% of the project and 2% management.
B. Did not find the funding, and did not actively pursue it.
C. Called the efforts of the previous manager a fraud
D. Now wants to claim the 2% after the project was funded by a manager that was fired from the firm without cause.
Answer: If they are a Private equity manager then I suggest you write a letter of complaint to his/her company and hold a performance review with your practice principal.
If the results come out as you have said, then they will most likely be discontinued from working with your practice.
Question: Obama is against lobbyist and his campaign manager in New Hampshire is a drug lobbyiest, what is his position? Just what is his position when it comes to the special interests in washington that influence the elected officials, instead of doing what is best for the voters? Obama's new hampshire campaign manager is a lobbyist for Pfizer drug company, and yet he claims to be against lobbying.
Answer: He's a hypocrite & oppurtunist, critcizing money in politics.. then happily accepting contributions from PAC's, lobbyists & corporations..
More on his current financers:
"The junior Senator from Illinois denounces the corrosive influence of private political cash on U.S. democracy while cozying up to Chicago's notoriously corrupt Big Money Mayor Richard M. Daley (with whom he shares the same high-priced campaign consultant (David Axlerod) and raking in campaign largesse from wealthy world-capitalist interests. His top career sponsors include Goldman Sachs, Exelon (the world's leading nuclear plant operator), the Soros Fund Management, J.P Morgan Chase & Co., leading corporate law and lobbying firms (Kirkland & Ellis and Skadden, Arps, Sidley Austin LLP and others), top Chicago investment interests (including Henry Crown & Co and Aerial Capital Management) and the like.
Obama's reliance on such deep-pockets supporters helps explain why he voted for a business-driven "tort reform" bill that rolled back working peoples' ability to obtain reasonable redress and compensation from misbehaving corporations. It is certainly part of why he opposed an amendment to the Bankruptcy Act that would have capped credit card interest rates at 30 percent. It is undoubtedly related to his vote against a bill that would have killed an amendment to the 2005 energy bill that Taxpayers for Common Sense and Citizens Against Government Waste called "one of the worst provisions in this massive piece of legislation." Under the amendment, which passed with Obama's help, U.S. taxpayers are providing millions of dollars in loan guarantees to power plant operators. They "risk losing billions of dollars if the companies default," as Ken Silverstein wrote in the November, 2006 issue of Harper's Magazine ("Barack Obama Inc.: The Birth of a Washington Machine").
Special interest influence is certainly behind Obama's constant plugging of federally subsidized ethanol ("E-85") as an environmentally friendly "alternative fuel." Reliance on corporate cash and power is also likely related to Obama's opposition to the introduction of single-payer national health insurance on the curious grounds that such a welcome social-democratic change would lead to employment difficulties for workers in the private insurance industry and that "voluntary" solutions are "more consonant" with "the American character" than "government mandates." The latter judgment is advanced despite the fact that a large U.S. majority supports government-mandated universal health insurance.
Obama, it is worth noting, received $708,000 from medical and insurance interests between 2001 and 2006, according to the Center for Responsive Politics. His wife Michelle, a fellow Harvard Law graduate, is a Vice President for Community and External Affairs at the University of Chicago Hospitals, a position that paid her $273, 618 in 2006. For what it's worth, she also received $51,200 for attending a few board meetings of TreeHouse Foods, a giant firm where she was made a director after Obama was elected to the U.S. Senate.
One day after Obama denounced Big Money control of U.S. politics in Iowa City, Iowa, the Los Angeles Times reported that Obama "raised more than $1 million in the first three months of his presidential campaign from law firms and companies that have major lobbying operations in the nation's capital." Obama has also received a combined $170,000 so far this year from financial giants Goldman Sachs and Citigroup, who together spent $4.6 million on federal lobbying in 2006.
"Obama received more than two-thirds (68 percent) of his first quarter 2007 fundraising total ‘from donations of $1000 or more.'"
The Los Angeles Times also reported that Obama received more than two-thirds (68 percent) of his first quarter 2007 fundraising total "from donations of $1000 or more." Obama has "played up populist themes of [campaign finance] reform," trumpeting his "large number of small donations" and claiming (in the Senator's words) to be "launch[ing]a fundraising drive that isn't about dollars.". But his astonishing first-quarter campaign finance haul of $25.7 million included $17.5 million from "big donors" ($1000 and up) - a sum higher than the much more genuinely populist and remarkably pro-labor John Edwards' total take ($14 million) from all donors.
According to Chicago Sun Times columnist Lynn Sweet, "Obama talks about transforming politics and touts the donations of ‘ordinary' people to his campaign, a network of more than 100 elite Democratic ‘bundlers' is raising millions of dollars for his White House bid. The Obama campaign prefers the emphasis be on the army of small donors who are giving - and raising - money for Obama. In truth, though, there are two parallel narratives - and the other is that Obama is also heavily reliant on wealthy and well-connected Democrats."

Question: what else other than the damages should I ask for in small claims in MD? My car was damaged in a car wash, the windshield panel was broken. Not only that, but the manager also tried to double stick tape the panel onto my car(no joke). If I didn't come out in time I would have never known and it would have come off during the drive causing me to have an accident or someone else. Also I am wondering the statue of limitations to file small claims in MD. Thanks and HEEELP! :)
Answer: Most small claim courts will only award you the amount that you are out, they are there to make you whole again.......
You will not be able to get loss wages.
You will also get the court cost back if you win.
Statue of Limitations:
Law that requires that all claims must be filed within a certain period of time [usually three (3) years from the time the claim arose]. Contact an attorney to find out whether the Statute of Limitations has "run" on your case.
If it has, this would mean that the case will be dismissed without a hearing.
