Good luck!
Question: What are the responsibilities of a Guest Service Attendant in a movie theather?
Answer: ticket taking and selling, Theatre cleanup. security, foodservice.
Question: How do you get a good service from a flight attendant? Of all the trips I've gone, I have not encountered a friendly flight attendant. I felt like they look at me as if I could not afford a trip. One attendant asked me sarcastically if I paid my son's seat when I ordered his sandwich. I would not asked if I didn't.
Then on another trip, AA's attendant got mad when I asked her for a snack box after my son woke up from his nap. Do I need to wear a gucci shirt and rolex watch to get good service? I am Asian and 5'4" by the way.
Answer: Poor customer service is rampant today. Write to AA or whatever airline you're on and tell them how you were treated. There's no excuse for poor behavior.
Question: How much do you tip an attendant at a drop off laundry service? It was the morning of Christmas Eve and I had a lot to do that day, so I dropped off my laundry at a laundromat that provided drop off service. There was only one female attendant working at the time so I think she was the one who actually started to wash my clothes. When the clothes were weighed and she was ringing me up. I was only expecting a dollar and some change back, but she said she made a mistake and the cost was cheaper. She ended up handing me six dollar bills and some change. I was tired so I thanked her, took my change and went home.
I thought about what happened with the change later and I started wondering if I was supposed to tip her. Would it have been a good gesture to tip her because she was working on the morning of Christmas Eve? Or is it a customary gesture every time you drop off your laundry?
Answer: There are several angles to your question. First off, no, it's not customary to tip your laundrer at all. But they are your clothes, after all, and you want them taken good care of, so tipping is a good idea. Also, you want the tip to go to the person who does your laundry, and not some random other employee.
If there is a regular person you leave your clothes with, and you know them, I suggest tipping them. But you don't necessarily have to tip them every time. Say you went in every other week; you could tip once a month. If the people in your laundromat change frequently, or there is more than one person doing the work, I'd make sure you put the money in the hands of the person who did your laundry that day (ask if you must, to find out who that was).
Since it sounds as if you don't use laundry service frequently, then I'd not be so concerned about tipping at all. However, your question raises other issues, namely, that you felt thankful that somebody did your laundry on Christmas Eve, and you feel a bit silly now that you didn't tip them. In my opinion, it's not too late to tip them even now. Would you remember who did your laundry? If so, deliver a tip to them inside a thank-you card or note, showing your gratitude that somebody washed your shirts and towels on a holiday. If you cannot remember who did your laundry, I suggest sending the laundry a general thank-you card without money. Being grateful and generous is a great idea, and I don't think most people should stifle their generous impulses.
Question: What're duties of Service Attendant? What's OH & S in this profession? What safety measure need to take during on duty at service station? When a service attendant need to do when a customer leave without paying bill?Lee
Answer: youre refering to OSHA occupational safteyhazard authority more specifically OH is occupational hazard & safety. Well if a customer leaves without paying the bill, if he takes his car, well you need to tell the manager, if its on you, i would ntify the person, first and if thats not available, id then notify the authorities, if he doesnt take his car, simply contac him and inform him that the bill needs to be paid to retain the car. but as a service attendant, this generally isnt your job. safety precautions vary from state to state, but im sure that steel toed work boots and gloves and eye protection are a minimum yet rarely enforced. other precautions may include head protection such as a hard hat, other than that..the big one is use common sense. unfortunate that osha doesnt make that a requirement.
Question: Flight attendant foot massage service? Ladies do you think I can start a foot massage service for flight attendants at their airline drop off office where they get dropped off after they finished work? Maybe in the parking area?
Answer: Maybe not by some creepy guy with a foot fetish in a parking lot, but most airports in Asia have foot massage and massage services that anybody including passengers or cabin crew can use, for a fee of course.
Question: What could a restroom attendant do to provide you with better service? some people apreciate the service and some people dont. Which one are you?
Answer: Be polite. Acknowledge you personally. Offer assistance with that missed button/zipper/etc on the back of my dress. Other than that I can't say there is much use for an attendant except for the spoiled rich. Perhaps an attendant could help with those hard to tie neckties, or brush off the sleeves and back of a man's wool suit before he leaves. All that would be fore someone who is used to having someone wait on them hand and foot to assure an image of perfection (not a hair out of place, etc). I am not one of those, but I've worked for some. There truly are some who wish you to dress them head to toe. Yes, it's true.

Question: what kind of customer service's courses should a flight attendant study them?
Answer: There isnt really any distinct courses that you could do. I did Hospitality Management. The best customer service experience you can get is to actually work in that environment. Working in Hospoitality Industry is also a big advantage. What i would recommend for you to do before you attend the interview would be is to get your Senior First Aid certificate level 2 and also your Responsible Serving of Alcohol certificate. These are a big must in becoming a flight attendant. On your resume list places you have travelled to and any languages you speak. All you need to do then is apply to airlines and what for a response. Airlines might take a while to get back to you - i waited 6 months!! hope this helps u....
Question: In Oregon, you cannot pump gas yourself. Is it customary to tip the service attendant who pumps your gas?
Answer: You cannot serve yourself at a bar but still tip the bartender. If the weather is inclimate one should expect to tip the attendant no matter what their policy on tipping would be, just as a courtesy.
Here is a link to tipping etiquette which covers most situations.

Question: how many years of customer service do i need to be an emirates flight attendant? please answer and give as many details as u can!
Answer: Years of customer service experience has nothing to do with it. You need charisma oozing out of every pore of your body. Apply to them. You'll be asked to come to an interview where you will stand up in front of everybody and tell them why you want to be a flight attendant.
This is how all airlines choose flight attendants, the ones that are charismatic, smile, and don't act nervous get jobs.
Question: what does the service attendant job at bob evans do?
Answer: What?
Question: Anyone work as a Flight Attendant or a Customer Service Rep at the airport? I really want to work in the airport environment/airline industry - anyone here work in this field - what advice do you have? how do i go about applying for jobs and what is it like working in these positions- your advice is greatly appreciated
Answer: Depends if you want to work for the airline or the airport.
I bet the Airport has a website where you can apply online.
As for the Airlines, you are better off if the airline has a hub in your city, especially if you want to be a flight attendant. Again, go to their websites and see if you can apply on line. In Vancouver Washington, there is the International Airline Academy, and lots of people join the airlines after going through the school.

Question: Have you flown Cubana airlines?what was their service like?friendly helpful Ground staff and Flight Attendant? Have you flown Cubana airlines(Cubana de Aviacion)?what was their service like?friendly & helpful Ground staff and Flight Attendants?
Answer: I know others that travelled with Cubana and said they had great service and they enjoyed their trip.
Question: whats a counter server at lubys? & whats the difference between that and a service attendant? ?
Answer: A counter server usually takes care of the customers at the bar who order food. At some restaurants, the bartender doubles as their server. If luby's is more of a diner, it just means the server who takes care of the people sitting at the counter (as opposed to in tables/booths). A service attendant does a variety of things. They usually help with To-Go orders (and carside orders if the place offers that), along with bussing/hosting/getting drinks to tables/rolling silverware... pretty much filling in the gaps and making sure the place runs smoothly... helping the servers out when they get too busy.
