Answer: If you live in England, there are some courses leading to a national qualification that you can probably get for free as you would be eligible for government funding. In bar management there are a number of skills that you would need. Maybe Mastering Business & Administration, or Customer Service Skills. Perhaps Team Leading or Business Improvement. Answer: Only if someone will hire you. You may have to take a starter position to prove yourself but with the course you're sure to be ahead in line when a management position comes available.

Answer: usually an owner/manager runs the whole show as a bar is fairly "easy" to run. it all depends on the size of the bar but you have your bartenders, bouncers, waitresses, and cooks if they serve food. You will probably have a "barback" that will carry alcohol from the back to the bar.. you might also have women carrying shot trays or even dancers for the bar. you might also have musicians or comedians depending on the size.

Question: Ip address into address bar wont bring up router management? i set up a static IP address because i just got a router and needed to forawrd ports, but when i enter my ip address that i just set up into the address bar, it doesnt connect and it wont come up with anything. but when i enter my default gateway address the router managemnet screen comes up. Answer: It is primarily a branch of business administration. Some schools have specific course work for what is generally referred to as the hospitality industry. There is a lot more to having an efficient, controlled and profitable bar than it may appear. There are LOTS of ways to lose money, potentially BIG money, at the bar. Spills, waste, overpouring, free drinks, theft and unrecorded sales are just a few of the inherent challenges that are present where ever liquor, beer and wine are served.

Question: dry term in bar management?

Answer: I'm not totally getting what you're asking here. If you mean what is a dry bar rather than a wet bar, it means that there is no running water/sink at that bar station. If you are talking about the term dry with wines, then it means that all of the sugars have been completely fermented out of the wine and there are virtually no residual sugars left...opposite of sweet wines are dry wines. Hope that one of those answers your question.

Question: Owning my own bar but where to begin? I did see the other blokes post but didnt really answer my questions. I am currently travelling through the uk and working in bars. Getting to know the trade. Im a head barman here now so when i get home i wanna know where to begin on starting my own business one day. It is not something i want to rush, im happy for it to take 5-10 years. I was thinking start working in a bar back in aus, then get a job as a bar manager then run a bar through a franchise or something, then open my own bar. But that is just a rough sorta plan i come up with in the last 5 mins.i want to learn everything. Answer: You'd need to undertake your Bar Exams at the ICSL (or one of the other providers). They are unconcerned whether you are on a debt management plan or not. By the time you apply for pupillage, you won't be on the DMP and I don't anticipate it'll form part of your CV..
