Question: I need to regulate the soil temperature of an indoor plant...? Im attempting to grow a real finicky pepper plant, the bhut jolokia, and i need to regulate the soil temperature. My thought was to wrap a heating pad around the pot and use a temperature controller.
The problem is the only ones i can find are designed for freezers/kegerators, or are industrial and cost thousands of dollars. looking for something in the 50 dollar neighborhood
i need to keep the temp between 82 and 87, so it needs to be pretty exact
the set-up needs to be automatic... if i just use a heat pad it may get too hot or too cold, i work 10 hours a day outside of the home.. i guess if i could find a heat pad with a thermostat that would work
Answer: seed starting mat... bottom heat...

get the thermostat, too....
Question: Mendel found that the “tall” trait was dominant for pea plants. What does that mean? A)It means that pea plants are always tall
B)When there are tall pea plants around, they will dominate and small pea plants in the same area.
C)When the tall trait occurs as one of the pair of trait- controllers, the plants will be tall.
D)When two pea plants look alike, then they have the same trait-controllers.
Answer: it's C...
dominant means that a recessive gene wouldn't be allow to express itself...
Question: Controllers and Control functions in power plant?
Answer: WHAT IS THE QUESTION?
Question: Is it worth using co2 on starter plants after the seedling stage is over? I am getting ready to start tomato plants. I was wondering what the nursurys did to make their tomato plants stalks so and stout.I was guessing co2. If so, what other plants would substantially benefit from using co2.I have access to a co2 controller that constantly keeps co2 @1500ppm,along with the other atmospheric controllers.I have been having fun with this and am looking forward to getting my plants a head start.
Answer: So far as I can see, all plants would "benefit" from having raised Co2 levels, because they all seem to grow faster when Co2 levels are higher. I don't think that makes for stronger stems, though. In fact, fast growing plants often tend to have weaker stems. If I wanted tougher stems, I'd cut back on the nitrogen, and put fans on the seedlings, so they blow around a little and toughen up their stalks as a result.
The "problem" with using Co2 is cost - it costs money to create that much extra Co2, plus, once you add in ventilation for cooling, all of your Co2 blows away, too. Between these two conflicting problems, it becomes costly to add much Co2, and only very high-dollar crops are worthwhile to grow this way. It's an interesting technology, and illustrates how plants will grow faster in a world with rising Co2 levels, but it's not very cost-effective. That's probably why you don't see this done more often. You will have to decide if the plant growth gains are really "worth it" for the costs involved.
Question: How to defeat 3 driads to get to statue overlord 2? I'm stuck trying to defeat the 3 driads plant creatures with the fire minions in overlord 2 they won't seem to die? I have tried everything and can't go further without killing them.please help before I smash my controller I hate being stuck
Answer: just select your red minions (R1+O), then sweep them into the grass area and press ▲. they will then fire storm the grass and the driads. after like two or three seconds, call them back then fight like normal.

Answer: use babel fish
Question: i have a 71 litre tropical tank with an 18w fluorescent light? i want to change my lighting to allow plants to grow better. i was wondering what lighting to go for. i have about £30-£40 to spare. i need the controller which i will buy and the actual light. what one is the best.
im planning on going to pets at home to buy these items. any help thanks. x
the flourecent light isn't benifical for the growth of plants. im set on growing quite alot of plants and i need the right bulb.
Answer: 18 watts is not stong enough light to grow most plants. There is more to consider in growing plants than you might imagine. The deeper the tank depth the stronger the light has to be to peneterate though the water. Also various plants have different needs so do some reading so you have a better chace at success. Note most tropical fish and plants come from areas near the equator where all year the day /nite is 12hr X 12 hr . This is more critical for plants than fish Good luck
Question: plant decisions help please for a discus tank, THREE 150 watt metal halides, sunpods for 150 gallon discus Tank? so here is the following list of plants i am considering. im obvously not going to use ALL of these... some i already know i will, however i know that some of these would just clash and look bad in the tank if they were together. im also going to wait to see what my driftwood looks like before i make any final decisions. but, these are my "working plants" that im thinking about. i would appreciate any help in narrowing down the list significantly if anyone has anything i should take out spacificly. im wondering if my lights are going to be too strong/too weak for some of the anubias and crypts or anything else... what do you think? that would help narrow the list.

tank is not set up yet, im still in the middle of the planning process. its going to be a discus tank. 6 discus, 30 cardinal tetras(give or take a few) 6 corry cats, algea eaters( not sure on type, maybe a bristlenose and some ottos). thats it for fish
i use dry ferts, still thinking up a fertiliseing routine. im goign to set the tank up, plant it. let it sit for a month, during that time ill be adding seachem stability. then ill slowly add fish over the next 4 months. hopefly by late november, early december, ill add the discus.
been in the plant keeping for a year. been keeping fish since i was 10 years old. im only 19 years old now. i still dont know everything but am still learning.i am dedicated enough with discus however(as you can see equitment wise). ive been prepareing for this tank for the last 4 months.alreaday has been a 3 grand set up.
Answer: You shouldn't use those lights on a Discus tank. That is way too much light for them. Discus like dimmer lighting. When choosing the plants you have to keep in mind your water temperature. With Discus you should be keeping the water at about 85-86 and a lot of plants don't do well at that temperature. There's a user on the source below that has a planted Discus tank. You should take a look at that and he'd give you great advice.

Answer: I would say you deck is okay, but here are some of my suggestions:
I would take out turbo warrior, the 2 jutte fighters, jinzo, and fairy king truesdale and add 3 princess of camellias, 2 botanical lions, 2 more lonefire blossoms ( they really help) :D. Take out 2 swing of memories, and get 3 miracle fertilizers and 2 fragance storms. Definitely have 3 Poliionosis and add 2 Mark Of The Rose. All decks should have a heavy storm too and a smashing ground so you can add those. :) I would take out 1 enemy controller, and gracefull revival. ( When you have cards like miracle fertilizer, trust me you wont need cards like monster reborn or gracefull revival. :D) Take out magical mallet, swords of revealing light, unleash your power, and sheild crush. Add 1 black garden too. I would take out limit reverse, and destruction jammer. Add 2 more world trees so you'll have 3. Add 1 lord poison and get 2 more black rose dragons, 2 goyo gaurdian, 3 queen of thorns, 2 thought ruler archfiend, and add another stardust. im not sure about dimension wall, c. e. d. and the neo spacian grand mole so you can decide what to do with them.
Hoped I help! XD

Answer: Well this deck is nice, kind of like my plant deck ^_^. Personally I don't like Symbol of Heritage, because when I ran it, I always drew into it when I didn't need to. I'd say run 3 swings and put in an extra Enemy Controller, also instead of running 3 krebons, run Magna Drago, for the simple reason that you can search him with UFO Turtle and get a decent synchro second turn or even your first. I don't like that 1 pheonix wing and the 1 rageki break. My honest opinion, take out either Break or Pheonix wing and put in the other one, and I don't particularly like Ultimate offering but that is your personal thing there, my opinion put either break/pwwb in instead of that and run 3 of those (you can also sub one of them for 3 compulsory evacs as well.)
D.D. crows are amazing but in Gigaplant otk they are horrible, and a waste of space, I'd say get rid of that maybe run more Lord Poison or something like Blazewing butterflies.
Finally my best advice for you, and I don't know why you didn't see this, but I would DEFINATLY run Double Summon/Super Double Summon/Unleash Your Power over those My Body as Shield (Pick one and run 2, but I think Double Summon is your best bet)
This deck is solid, and with a small amount of tweaking it can be amazing, maybe Regionals matiriel.
Really hope this helps ^_^.
