Generally, the controller is involved in budgets, approving capital expenditures, reviewing P&L statements, etc. The accounting supervisor is charged with managing the people who keep the books that the controller reviews.

Approach the situation as if you are the one in-charge, meaning as calmly and with conviction that the company need to inform you this information because you are part of the company as a team and not just an ordinary employee. You don't have to be irate, what for? If you are working there for quite a while you know the people around you, correct? Well if you are just new, then act naturally as if you are lost and you need direction to where you're going. Regarding the 9 hour work then you should clearly state your position to the HR manager to clear things up.

My last review was very good. My dept. has continued to meet all its dealines/goals while running short staffed. 1 week ago, my father passed away. Last week, I began physical therapy for a miniscus injury to my knee, through workers comp, for an earlier fall down the stairs at work. On Friday (yestereday), at 4:45, after everyone had already gone home for the day, I was called into my bosses office and told I would no longer be supervising my staff; they would now be reporting directly to him. My position was being transferred into a new area, where I would be responsible for training 2 new (younger) hires. I would still retain my title "Supervisor", but not supervise anyone. When I inquired what I would be doing after the training was complete, I was told that management was still had to work out the assignements. Similar things have happened to other women in our dept. I'm the 3rd. Any suggestions?

I want to install reinstall a program but to do that i have to get rid of its old remains first and i can only do that in a supervisor account.My supervisor account was removed accidentally a while back. Answer: You can make another ADMINISTRATOR account IF you have access already as an ADMIN on computer in question. IF your not then Windows will not allow you to make an ADMIN account. there is no supervisor accounts in windows xp. just admin and user accounts. hope that helps goodluck

I keep going under parental controls, and not allowing anything but it will block the entire internet for me "supervisor" and allow the entire internet for my "visitor" account.

Answer: 1. Read the manual? 2. Check Symantec's website for help. Guessing I would set the visitor up with privilege to modify the settings, login as the visitor and configure the system to block the internet, logout as visitor, login as supervisor and remove the ability of configuration changes for the visitor.
