Question: How to be appointed by the Vital Statistics Agency Chief Executive Officer to become a marriage counselor.? My fiance and I are marrying May 2009 in British Columbia and want a friend to officiate, under the marriage act it needs to be solemnized by a Marriage Commissioner. I've searched the government pages but I can't find HOW someone gets appointed by the Vital Statistics Agency Chief Executive Officer to be a Marriage Commissioner.
Answer: There is no such thing as a temporary marriage commissioner in British Columbia. That idea comes from American television, and Canadian law is different.
Becoming a marriage commissioner is not something you do to be able to marry friends: it's a full-time permanent job, and commissions are only given out when an existing commissioner retires or dies or when the population increases.
"Ministers" of the ULC and other online churches cannot solemnize marriages in BC either. You must be married by someone whose job is to marry people - either a registered clergy member or a permanent secular marriage commissioner.
Question: what course should i take to be a chief executive officer someday? what course should i take to be a chief executive officer someday?
Answer: The chief executive officer course, duh!
Question: effectiveness of a personal assistant to the work of the chief executive officer in a work place? Why should a personal assistant be important in the office of the chief executive officer.
Answer: I am one of those...can't you see how important I am...LOL
Just kidding, I'm on "break". I have earned 2 hours of personal internet use each day. I only leave my desk for bathroom breaks. Lunch is taken at my desk. I read & sort all incoming emails and phone calls.
I keep the appointment calendar.
I would consider a Personal Assistant to the CEO a live PDA/Blackberry/Voice Mail system.
When a project comes up, I do the set up & final work. He gets the credit, however, I am paid very well to do what I am asked to do. My work sometimes comes home with me, but not often enough to interfere with being a wife & mother.
Question: if you were chief executive officer of a large corporation, how would you "Iinstitutionalize" ethics in the cor if you were the chief executive officer of a large corporation, how would you "Institutionalize" ethics in the corporation?
Answer: Leading by example and by having a business plan model for it.
Question: Can you use 'Chief Executive Officio' instead of 'Chief Executive Officer' ? I received an offer letter from a company, but they seem to use the word Chief Executive Officio for CEO, instead of Chief Executive Officer.
I think the latter is correct, and the former is not! Can you tell me which one is correct?
Answer: No, an Chief Executive "ex-officio" means that you're a chief executive who gets a seat on the board simply because you're C-level.
Though if you have a job offer of CEO of and don't know this, I highly suspect the legitimacy of your offer... It sounds like language you typically find in one of those scams that comes out of India or Africa.
Question: What's the strangest thing one can find in a dead Chief Executive Officer's pocket? My last question was dumb, but please tell me - what do you think - what one can find inside a pocket of a late Chief Executive Officer, lying alone in a daaaark, creepy wood?
Answer: RYE
Question: How is a chief executive officer usually hired? Does she have to apply online like everyone else?
Answer: Umm.. I'm not quite sure I understand your question.
Question: What do you buy a Chief Executive Officer for his leaving present? Our CEO is leaving us soon and we're a bit stuck on what to get him as a leaving present. He's quite a relaxed fellow who lives in a minimalist lifestyle in a nice part of London. He's leaving us to be a director of a musical association.
Any Ideas?
Answer: give him a nice watch, plaque, or a set of very nice cuff links.
Question: How much does a Chief Executive Officer of a hospital make a year on average?? What degree do they need? Business administration of Healthcare Administration?
Answer: CEO's income range varies GREATLY from business to business. There is no finite way to even give you an accurate average on this.
As for the degree, the same applies here. Some CEO's have engineering degrees, others have their MBAs. Some have pharmaceutical degrees. It's impossible to narrow it down without an industry specific.
Keep in mind that wage also vary from State to State, City to City, and County to County. The scale is so far apart that any answer you get here can and will be way off margin.
Question: What does a Chief Executive Officer do on a daily basis in his/her office? I'm writing a story and one of the characters happen to be a CEO. i want to be accurate with the way he treats other characters; the subordinates. Does he/she get to enjoy break time like others do? Does he have a secretary? How much does he usually earn?
Answer: I'm an auditor for a fairly large firm and I interview and observe CEO's of large companies on a regular basis.
They nearly always have a secretary. They are typically very dynamic and easy to talk to. While their company is growing they're usually the person out in front of the company driving new sales and cold-calling, but as the company grows they usually shrink back into their office mode of going to meetings and preparing to go to meetings.
Once they get into office mode, they don't get out much anymore except to go to meetings or conferences. Some big decisions still have to run through them, but for the most part, they have underlings that take care of the day to day stuff. For pay, a CEO of a growing company will generally make 15-25% of revenues. i.e. 1 million in revenue = 150K-250K in CEO income.
Some CEO's get depressed at that point because, even though they're making more money than they ever have before, they aren't doing what got them there anymore. Still, most find hobbies like day trading to keep them busy. Hope that helps.
