Question: I am a network/systems engineer working in Hyd and I wish to get a job in UAE. Please let me know how can I go I have 3 years of experience working as a systems/network engineer, and I am also cisco certified network programmer. If anybody can help me in this, I would really appreciate it. I would like to know the ways I could approach in getting the visa and a company who can sponser the visa for me. I do not have any relatives living there.
Answer: Please visit the link giving below, look for a suitable job opening and send in your resumee.
http://www.startpagedubai.com/jobs.htm
All visas will be arranged by the company on their costs and are not deductable of the salary.
If hired, a reputated company would take care that you will enter on the right visa (should be the mission visa by now).
Important to know: never pay any money to any recruitment agency. This against the UAE Labour Law. Have all certificates ready in case you get hired. Negotiate a salary package incl. basic salary, housing allowance and transportation. Rents in Dubai (or in UAE in general) are very high. Please do some math before signing any contract. Also gather as many information about the UAE as possible in advance.
Therefore the following link is very useful:

Take care.

Question: How is Dubai's job situation for System/Networking Engineer....? I want to go UAE visit visa for job,I have 4+ Experience in computer hardware & networking. Is it right time to go dubai on visit visa for job..................?I m Indian.
Answer: I had a friend from Dubai visit a couple of days ago and he said that the employment picture there is falling through the floor. Dubai has no natural resources or income except as a banking/trade center and through the largess of places like Abu Dabi. With the current world economic conditions Dubai is collapsing and has already had to go begging to the neighboring Emirates. Go to Saudi or Iraq but skip Dubai.
Question: What is the difference between Network engineer and Systems engineer?
Answer: The definitions are going to vary a bit depending upon who you talk to, but I believe in general you'll find it works something like this. A network engineer, generally speaking, is responsible for network infrastructure. They tend to be the people responsible for switches and routers (and technically, hubs, but hopefully most networks have moved off of hubs for security reasons). They will need to have an understanding of cabling issues (for example, how long can a run of CAT-5 cable be?) and of the OSI networking model. They will also need to understand general client/server concepts backwards and forwards, top to bottom. And it never hurts to have at least a general understanding of network security issues, up to and including firewall and IDS/IPS configuration. By contrast, a systems engineer tends to be more of a system administrator. That is, they are usually the people responsible for the operation, maintenance, and general upkeep of servers that reside on the network, be they Windows, UNIX, Linux, VMS, or whatever other OS you care to mention. There is a little bit of overlap between the two positions from time to time, but in the broadest of terms, you can think of the network engineer as being responsible for the foundation, and the systems engineer as being responsible for the stuff built on top of that foundation.
Question: Entry level Network Engineer/Administrator Assistant Network Engin./Admin or Network Support job? I recently graduated college with a Bachelor’s of Science in Computer Science and I am looking for an entry level full time position in a pleasant work environment as a Network Engineer, Assistant Network Engineer, Network Administrator Assistant Network Administrator or Network Support where I work closely with a seiner Network Engineer/Administrator and develop valuable work skills and knowledge in the field of Networking. I have the ability to lean new tasks and concept quickly and I can work with team or individually with little supervision.
I have worked as a Computer Lab Assistant for about a year and have very good skill in troubleshooting, installing, and maintaining and basic knowledge networking, operating system, database systems and web design. In addition, I am pursuing Microsoft Certified System Engineering certificate.
Can someone please help me to find that job. Thanks
Answer: Send you resume.
