Answer: from my experience i say that u should go in design its better to work in design department then in quality as in quality u have to go with the shop floor this means u have to work in any shift in a day plus if someone is not there of quality department even if ur shift is over then u have to do his/her work as well but there is not any thing like this in design department as no one can interfare in ur work and there is nothig like over time in design department

Answer: Education is not about marks & pay packets etc; it is about understanding the concept & develop the same in your field. Choose a career based on your abilities. Think what you are good at & at what level you are good at it.

Question: what are the qualities of a person that is meant to be a mechanical engineer? im currently studying industrial engineering and i want to change to mechanical engineering because I find it more interesting but i don't want to make any mistakes, i just want to know if its meant for me, and what its all about...

Answer: Almost all types of engineers find that they spent their youth asking the questions "how does that work", "why does this happen" or "how can I fix this problem". They are then drawn to engineering because it offers them a career answering these types of questions. I'm a mechanical and my world differs from the Industrial engineers I know in that I deal with designing products and fixing problems inherent with a product's design. I also oversee the maintenance of a product's documentation and make sure no changes are made that might compromise its design intent or reliability. The industrial guys are involved in running the production line and maintaining or improving the flow of the line. I'm sure that the I.E.s have other career opportunities but these are what I'm familiar with. As a side note while at university we would joke that the I.E.s degree was not as difficult as M.E. or E.E. because their classes didn't seem to be as rigorous as ours in a technical sense.

Answer: I really don't know. But, my boyfriend is also a mechanical engineer. He wants me to move to texas because he says there are good jobs down there for mechanical engineers. However, my aunt is an electrical engineer and she works at miller brewery company in trenton, OH. There may be some openings there or, other factories

Question: Are there any chances that a mechanical engineer become a pharmacist? I would like your opinions if i should pursue a degree in pharmacy or remain in mechanical engineering. I have mixed qualities of both, i like to solve problems, but not too difficult (applies to engineering). I like to study and gain more knowledge from different subjects (applies to pharmacist). I am a kind of person who doesnt like to work in fast competitve areas, where they are expected to meet deadlines early. I dont know what to do...i am currently doing 2nd yr in mechanical. Is it possible to have a career in both engineering and pharmacy...wud appreciate any help.......thank you.

Answer: The answer here is in the field. I personally have been a pharm tech, from what I see the only fun they have are the ones in the hospital who light up like christmas bulbs when the good looking sales rep come in and they take them out to lunch. Its a contained world, I would think Engineering would afford you more options. Frankly another observation is that a whole lot of pharm guys have had family in the field and this stuff is their whole life. They are more boring and usually .fuglier in looks middle aged. So spend some time talking to pharm people about there day pros and cons. I personally see engineers at least working with there peers, pharm guys have to talk to old ladies and idiots about dumb constipation meds.

Answer: As you have a degree in mechanical egineer and therefore an econimcal immigrant, i cant see much problem in getting to the UK legally

Answer: As with all organizations, NASA's specific requirements change from time. Engineers at NASA have duties that don't differ much from engineering positions at various companies. The only real difference is that NASA is a government agency, so you have to qualify for public service and be comfortable with working for the government. For most people I know at NASA, that's not an issue. But some people prefer the private sector.

Answer: For design: Autodesk - AutoCAD Mechanical Autodesk - Inventor (can also do stress tests and the like)
