Answer: Well isn't that like engineering for instruments that measure things. I would imagine any type of production or treatment plant....chemical, wastewater, power. Maybe even Boeing or Lockheed. Instruments are key in aircraft....someone has to engineer them. I should say not working at these places...but working with companies that work for these kins of places.

Question: Can i have the names of jobs for an instrumentation engineer?
Answer: If you are an Instrumentation engineer, then you are lucky . You can get into most fields of engineering .
I am an E&I graduate . Me and my friends have been placed in automation/ control/ power/ automobile /electronics /networks /telecom /IT /steel /etc industries .
If you want pure Instrumentation , you can get into automation and control . In other industries such as power / automobile / etc ... you can get a job as an Instrumentation/ Control engineer .
As for "names" , If you meant something like design engineer , system engineer ,etc , those are applicable in all industries . Not just Instrumentation .

Answer: There can be no best convincing answer to this. If you wish to work in the Oil and Gas sector (and are experienced) you should get an entry level salary of 5K AED with Acco and transportation. I would take it up, simply for the Acco factor.
If you wish to work in contracting / Building management systems, it is normally 2K times the number of years of experience you have. It should max out though in the range of 20K (all found)
If you are western qualified, which is unlikely from the ambiguity in your questioning, there are no limits, and you should not be asking this question
Question: Anyone know information on instrumentation engineer technology? Its not for me..but if anyone knows info on this profession and the salary in U.S and Canada please let me know!!!
Answer: I am not aware of any specific 'instrumentation' engineering degree, but it is pretty much a hybrid of electrical engineering and mechanical engineering with loads of statistics. If you got an engineering degree than I would expect your starting salary to be around $50K/yr. If you get a general tech degree from a comm college than you would probably be looking at around $30K/yr.
