Question: What is a vice prinicipal for school for?are they afraid the principal might get assinated? Like in the midst of an argument over some school planning ...they afraid over fight for power the principal might get assinated? is that why they have vice principals? tehy might as well throw in electives for kids as body guards
Answer: A vice principal simply helps the principal when the principal is busy. Using this logic it would mean a student vice president is only there in case the class president is killed.
Question: Vice principal lost my cell phone are they suppose to replace it? last week they took away my phone and the vice principal lost my phone. Are the suppose to replace it?
Answer: I don't think you are supposed to have cell phones in school, but that does not give anyone the right to lose your property and not replace it. They owe you a new cell phone or at least the current value.
Question: How do you get rid of an unfair, lying, unethical vice-principal? at my daughters school, her vice principal harasses certain students, lies to parents, has broke confidentuality rules. talks to the children like dogs. etc.
this is a female, and it's been going on for years. she's good at covering her @ss.
Answer: There is strength in numbers, organize other parents whose children have been unfairly treated by the Vice Principal. Develop a united front with the other parents and target a member of the board of education as the person you direct the complaint to. Be sure to document each incident as it occurred and be specific about incidents citing the facts and avoiding generalizations like he or she is mean.
It is difficult enough for kids to develop relationships with other students, your child may be a friend one day and the enemy the next. There is no room for patiality in the school, teachers and administrators need to keep any personal likes or dislikes for kids outside the school and should be taken to task when they don't.
Good Luck!!
Question: Why are female vice principals always mean?
Answer: Somebody has to deal with the disruptive kids, and often it becomes the responsibility of the vice principal, whether male or female.
Question: Is it illegal for the vice principal of my school to look through our phones when she confiscates them? The school allows cell phones but they must be turned off and kept out of sight, but when we get them taken away for being out, the vice principal of the school looks through them at our pictures and our messages. Everyone has been talking about it at school and saying that it is illegal and an invasion of privacy. So is it illegal?
Answer: Schools are given strong deference to both maintain a learning environment free from distractions and protect the student body.
The rule that cell phones be kept out of sight is clearly legal, and confiscating them (to prevent distractions at school) is also legal. Looking through the confiscated phones (or lockers, backpacks, etc.) for evidence of illegal or harmful behavior in order to protect its students has been upheld as legal searches. Believe it or not, students don't have the same constitutional rights while in school.
Question: How to fight against a racist policy at Whittier high school from the vice principal targeting hispanics? It appears, that these vice principal runs the school, instead of the mere principal, a policy affecting hispanics has been put in place by these vice principal and , it seems that not even the main district can over rule these deacriminatory policy.this policy affecting mainly hispanics bans them from attending prom graduation dance, even in the event that these hispanics are graduating, this policy is not from the board of education in whittier but rather from a personal vice principal who rules that hispanics lack understanding of her policy ,such a hate for hispanics has been recorded from numerous mothers and parents after a meetting with this particular vice principal in whittier high school. help, how can we mothers and parents go against a vice principal that appears has the support from official in the main district to have in place a racist policy.?
please i need help in whittier california.
Answer: This racism is so obvious, you should not have any problems winning your case. Sue the district, call news stations, write letters to your news paper letting them know what's going. It's hard to believe this is happening in the year 2007, are you talking about Whittier, California ??
Question: what to do about vice principal of school looking down female students shirts? Vice principal of our small town school thinks he can strip down our kids past their underwear and has the girls bend down so he can look down their shirts
Answer: call the cops, that is sexual assault/harrassment
Question: Pay difference between Principal and Vice Principal? Ok. So I am wondering, for a vice principal of a high school and a principal of a high school is there a great difference in the annual pay or salary?
Answer: probalby a lot
Question: Is it unusual for white students to be paddled by black teachers/principals (or vice versa)? In states where corporal punishment is legal in the schools, how common or rare is it for a black principal to spank white students, or for a white principal to spank black students? Are there any unspoken rules that discourage interracial corporal punishment?
Answer: Excuse me? I can't imagine any state that allows corporal punishment! I'd like to know if you are aware of any, though. Are you trying to be divisive with this question or are you serious?
Question: How would you handle going to a meeting with the vice principal, disiplinarian, teacher and your son? The teacher won't tell me what it's about and ignored my email about is it serious. Son says its the same old he's talking instead of working, asking to go to the bathroom too much etc
Answer: I say that if it is something REALLY bad, you tell everyone in the room to get out (so there are no witnesses) and then beat the life outs the little kid. If it is something really stupid, hand the school VP a bill for your time.
Seriously, just be level headed, calm and Do be supportive of the teacher, but if it is something that is REALLY silly, then you can 'splain it' to them as such.
I once had to go into the school for something silly..... apparently my kid got into a small scuffle and someone got milk spilled on them. 4 parents, a lunchroom aide, the principal, and a few other useless administrators..... the wives were going at it "your kid blah blah blah". the two husbands looked at each other and said "was there blood?" Both of us then stayed back to have a word with the school administrators..... seems that after that, the school wised up......
Question: Is the school constable and vice aloud to ask personal questions like these? Well my girlfriend got in trouble for something she did not do and the cop and vice principal kept asking personal questions about me and basicly being really harsh on her. Personal questions like how did you meet him and other things. And does he also have the right to tell my g/f's parents? I'm so pissed right now.. Can't believe they're asking my g/f this... ****
also are they allowed to expell her if she did not do anything? But them bitches think she did something but has no proof or her name coming out of a witness?
Answer: Hey Elvis, was she 14 while you were 24 , that could be a reason why they want to put you in jail. That stuff doesn't float any more.
Question: How should I write an email to a vice principal? I went to this high school, but I started homeschooling and now I'm hoping to get back to the same previous high school for my next grade. How should I ask for imformation to apply again/when to do it by etc?
(I just feel slightly rude and awkward because I technically got pulled out from that school by my mother due to how terrible I was doing educationwise..)
I want to ask by email first because I jsut feel too rude/awkward to go face to face with the vice principal again lol.. X0
Answer: why not try the office of admissions? Try asking there, that helped me out.
Oh, lol, then why not go to the school's site if they have one and get his e-mail off of there?
Question: what is your vice principals last name? mine is a food. no kidding
Answer: Your vice prinicpal's last name is "a food"?
wow, that's crazy.
Question: What does the Vice President really do? Don't say he does nothing. I know that is wrong.
At schools, there is a Vice Principal. If the Principal is busy doing something and he has to check on a class, he sends the Vice. If he needs advice about something that he does not know about, but the Vice does know a lot about it, he asks his opinion on it. When the Principal goes on vacation, the Vice Principal runs the office. If someone gets in trouble and the Principal is on vacation, the Vice handles the situation. If the principal is busy and a teacher has a concern, complaint, question or the teacher gets in trouble, the Vice handles it. Or if the Superintendent needs to talk to the Principal and he is busy, the Vice talks to the Super. If there is a meeting the Principle has to go to and can't make it, he sends the Vice as well.
It works the same in the Army. If the Commanding Officer, (Captain) can't go to a meeting he sends the highest ranking officer under him to take notes (Usually his XO 'Executive Officer'). If he is not at the unit that day, his XO takes command.
I know the Vice President does this stuff as well and he casts the tie breaking vote in the house if that is necessary, but what else does he do every day?
Answer: from what I have seen, they shoot people while hunting, so Palin should be super qualified for the job.
Question: The vice-principal called the cops on someone at school? For drinking on school grounds? She is already really mean, why does she want to see kids getting arrested? I mean I'm against drinking and everything, but you think it's a little harsh for someone to call the cops to have them arrested? I can see now why everybody hates her. That kid was crying as he walked out of the office with the cop. I felt sorry for him and think he should have just been suspended, not arrested. Is this right?
Answer: most definatly. they should tell the persons parents, but not the police.
Question: what are the roles that vice principals play in high schools...please provide things that they do daily....? if possible
Answer: Bridging the GAP between Principal and other teachers.
What ever is Principle's responsibility should be vice principle's responsibility also.
