Question: Do you need a math credit to become a Early Childhood Educator? Hello, i was just wondering if you need a math credit to become an early childhood educator, and i also would like to know what other things could i become with a math credit because i need to decide now, its my last year of high school. Please help!!! THANKS!

Answer: Isn't the math required for High School? Depends on what your plan is for further education...are you planning on entering the early childhood field as a child care worker with very little training or, the more desired, to get your Early Childhood Endorsement? As already mentioned, you'll need the math for any Bacherlor's degree. Math is a very important skill for early childhood educators. Math is used every day in many different situations.
