Answer: This is not a common job title. It would probably mean the person who is trying to attract "conventions" to stay at her hotel. So she is contacting the American Medical Association and the Veterans of Foreign Wars and telling them to choose her hotel for their next convention. She would also ask "Trainers" to select her hotel for their speaking engagements. Some sales trainers can attract audiences of 1,000 people to their speeches. She could offer a free hotel stay to the trainer and the free use of a ballroom to hold the event. She would be hoping that 250 of the "attendees" would stay overnight at the hotel. The only requirement is an ability to sell. No college course can teach you that..

Answer: Just try your best and don't be down hearted when someone says no as you'll get a much higher ratio of no responses to yes ones. A good selling technique is called SPIN selling. Stands for Situation, Problem, Implication, Need. Essentially you talk to the customer, empathise with their situation, identify a problem, highlight the implication of thier problem and then identify thier need i.e. you and your product. Answer: I don't know the specific answer to your question as I don't work in that sector. But I do live in Paris, and I do work in HR. As a rule of thumb, salaries in Paris are around 2/3 of those in London for a similar job. Or in other words, if you know the salary in London in £, then the salary in Paris for a similar job should be roughly the same number in €.
