Answer: ASM is assistant stage manager. The asm does everything to ensure the show is done professionally, including scene shifting, props and anything else the stage manager needs doing.

Answer: I don't think a degree is needed for assistant positions. A certificate in human resource management, supply chain management, or management accounting may be helpful. Maybe the company only hire packers or the like, or helping out in machining or assembling parts, so high school education is sufficient, training should be provided, so experience is not required.

Answer: Old enough to legally drive a car by yourself. And just remember, there are 100 more people who want to be PAs and take your job. It is all about getting good references in the industry and NOT about how long your resume is. You have to do the best job possible and never complain or make the jobs of the people you're helping more difficult. Not everybody is cut out to do that. Good luck.

I would tell u to network like crazy but also take some classes to show to campanies that u are very serious about persuing this career.

Answer: A degree in radio/TV/film or film studies is probably the most useful degree for that kind of job. Internships and helping out with student films will give you experience as well as potential contacts. But it's also just a matter of persistence. You'll need to relocate to New York or L.A., find a place to live (and NYC is really expensive), and then just start looking for work. Be prepared to change jobs when a better opportunity comes along and get to know as many people as possible because networking is really important as a way of finding the next job. You can expect to work long hours for little pay when you first start out because that's just the nature of the business. It helps a lot to be a positive, outgoing person and to attend business-related receptions, parties and social functions just so that you can meet people. You really need to be sure that this is the career you want because it takes a lot of determination and perseverance to be successful.

Answer: Nicley casual, what Imean fix your hair and makeup if you a girl, yo udon't say what sex you are so that kind of makes it hard, so if you are a girl, then put on nice pair of earings, diamond studs or gold jewerly goes with everything and it dressed up everything, then where a nice shirt with a button down, nice pair of slacks followed up with a nice clean lofters types of shoes, if you are to wear high heels make sure they are very low b/c you will be running here and there. Look clean, smell clean wear perfume and smile alot and agree with everything make sure you also tuck in your shirt and where a matching belt that matches the color of your shoes. I would rather be over dress then under dress.
