Question: What do you think an accomplished musician is? But its also a deeper question of how do you define accomplished at anything, or maybe the meaning of success. I realised I can't define it. I guess any musician I look up to and aspire to be like, I would consider accomplished. I'd think someone was an accomplished musician because they're a master of their instrument and chosen style/s...although, I really don't know.

Answer: an accomplished musician could just get 1 fan, but that still is an accomplishment. And a musician can't be the best at his/ her instrument. There are many styles of music and techniques that can be made up. You would have to memorize all of them to be a master of your instrument. ie. I can make up any scale on guitar, anyone can make up a scale. We can invent weird styles of playing it and not tell anyone else. We would be masters of our own style/ technique. So i say no one can be a master of their instrument, but you can be a master of a style. but anyways, an accomplishment can be anything, it is just your point of view of what an accomplished musician is.

Question: What classic rock band or musician, that is still around today has progressed the most? What classic rock band or musician has successfully adapted to the changing times and found new audiences as well as keeping the old? Are there any?

Answer: Maybe Neil Young. I also think Tom Petty has done a pretty good job - getting together with other artists and doing other projects. Eric Clapton too.

Question: What should I charge a musician to use my photograph for his album cover? I have not sold my artwork for commercial use in the past, but it's pretty good and I'm not sure what to charge for its use on a CD cover. The musician is a fairly well known local artist in Vancouver, BC. Thanks.

Answer: My feeling is that you could charge the band $200 for limited use. The best money I ever made from an album cover was a indefinite use fee of $50 plus a percentage of each LP sold. I still make $10 a week from that deal made in1986!

Question: How do you become a musician in Free Realms? My little cousin asked me to help her become a musician in this game she plays and i have no clue. Please help me help her.

Answer: there is no musician job in free realms its just a mini game that u can play

Question: How hard is it to become a professional touring musician? Hi, I really want to become a professional musician. I understand that the competition is really tough, however I know a friend who was tutored by MJ, and has a record deal. Does knowing people have any affect on your success as a musician. Are my chances of making it slightly higher as I could be introduced. Thanks!

Answer: What are your skills? Training? Experience? Without that as your base line you wouldn't have a chance.

Question: How do I become a professional musician in a major orchestra? I have been playing the cello in school for five years, but I've never had a private lesson. And I'm 16. Is that too old to think about a music career? Any other advice? Is there a way to be a part-time musician as music is not my only passion?

Answer: Ok I cannot really help you as I don't either play an instrument or practice music. But what I have to add is interesting. It is about la vie des fourmis. Listen. My cousin is a real musician, he plays the piano, the flute, aims to become conductor of orchestra and also, il aime les jolies chèvres. Thus he's now learning russian and german I think because there happen major events. Especially in Vienna. Oui l'Autriche quel beau pays tout de même !! And the most important thing is that once he is conductor, he'll visit me in my farm, where there will be ducks and cows and chickens and goats (en fait j'aime pas tant les chèvres, aussi jolies chèvres soient-elles, j'préfère étudier la vie des fourmis et leur habitat : quel beau pays !) ... !! Question: What about a musician do you find attractive? I know so many girls who like musicians just for the fact that theyre a musician. It doesn't even matter how they look, or how talented they are. Why is this?

Answer: I would say because musicians come across as really confident, which is sexy. Also, if they are talented, talent is a really attractive factor. Some like the thrill of someone who is well-known or famous. I don't know, something about being in a band just makes a boy hotter.

Question: As a musician how do you overcome nervousness on stage? Ok, so I'm a musician and I know that I'm good enough to be on stage but the only thing keeping me back is nervousness. I have been on stage twice now but I don't perform my best because of the nervousness...Got any Advice?

Answer: It's slightly bizarre, but I once had a teacher make this comment: "Do you really think that they care that much about you?" Sure everyone is watching you, but only a jerk is sitting there waiting for you to mess up. And do you really care what that person thinks? Take a deep breath and exhale (the exhale part is important). Find someone who will be in the audience and who is willing to work with you in advance and will be supportive. If you start to freak out then just focus on that person and exhale. Take your time to gather your thoughts before the show/presentation. You don't have to race through it. Personally, I tend to ramble and interject lots of ers, yeahs, and uhs when I speak. If you are giving a presentation then index cards work wonders to help you keep your place and prevent your from mumbling. Everyone gets nervous in some setting. I sing, and by the end of high school I had completely conquered my stage fright. I could stand in front of a large group of people and be perfectly comfortable. Then, when I got to college and had to sing in front of my fellow music majors my nerves came back. The first time I sang in class I had to literally put my hand on my leg because my leg wouldn't stop shaking. But the next time it wasn't quite as bad, and the time after that it was a little easier. Keep it up and eventually you will find the stage fright management technique that works best for you. Good luck!

Question: What should this musician wear for an upcoming concert? A musician friend of mine needs some ideas for what to wear for an upcoming concert. He plays several different instruments, and the group of friends plays a lot of different musical styles. They will be covering Oasis and The Rolling Stones, and have also covered Bob Dylan and The Band.

Answer: too much thought = less personal style.. effortless is the best style for a guy.. i'd say wear whatever u normally would wear, & are comfortable in.. costumes will take away from the music
