Question: In film, is there a difference between a location scout and a location manager ? and if so what is it that each of them do?

Answer: Yes, there is a difference. Location Scouts research various local and distant locations to meet the criteria of settings that are in the script. Local locations refer to those areas within a 30 mile jurisdiction of the Motion Picture Association, and anything over that is considered a distant location. Location Scouts now research locations on-line, finding out as many facts as possible before making an actual trip to the location to determine if the speculated area is amenable to the film production. When visiting a proposed location, the Location Scout photographs various buildings and other sites within the speculated area for the Producers to peruse. Once the film is in development and into production, the Location Manager is responsible for working with all location officials to secure specific buildings and sets for the film, arranging all city, state and town permits required for filming; and generally oversees the activity of all production on the location. The Location Manager works closely with the Unit Manager and the Production Coordinator in regard to hiring of local personnel, arrangement of hotels for cast and crew; etc. Sometimes, Location Managers do the scouting of locations themselves.

Question: If a job is in one location, but the hiring manager is in another, what address should I put in cover letter? I only have the address to the job location. I am faxing the resume and cover letter so it will make to the correct destination, but the hiring manager's address is not included in the job posting. Should I just leave it out or should I just use the job location address?

Answer: If you are FAXing the resume, then the actual location does not matter on the cover letter. Leave it out.

Question: How to get a manager to stop calling you by a "nickname"? Here's the situation. My manager is a cool person. At a time, each week I would work in his office, joke around, etc. He made up a nickname (based off my name) and it was cool...I didn't have a problem with it. We've recently moved to another location. The manager started becoming distant (in part because where I am located and his office aren't close, he was passed up over a promotion plus he has had personal issues outside of the job recently) towards us. Answer: do you have any relative qualifications? everybody wants to work in their ways but do you have confidence and time for it, if you're ready to give it a go then go to job centre to get advice about relative jobs and get a job first. the most important thing is getting involved and learn in a hard way

Answer: it cant be done by task manager u can do this open system information (run msinfo32 from run dialog) goto s/w env -> running tasks on the right pane u will see all running processes and their locations

Answer: Speak to your Manager. Let him or her know that you need additional work hours. It might be possible to arrange your schedule so that you can work part time at both stores. Example: M-W at store #1 T-F at store #2 The situation may not be any better at the other store. The Pharmacy Technicians that currently work there may be in the same situation (limited work hours). Consider applying for a position at other drug stores (other than the chain retailer you currently work for) if your current employer can not or is unwilling to find a satisfactory solution. Question: With the Download Manager in WindowsXP...how do i change the download location? I would like to set it to where it asks me everytime as to where i want something downloaded.

Answer: You create a folder in your desktop for example my is Varius then all the time and the beginning you change the path by default it will go to a TMP folder. You only has to do one or 2 times and the download manager learn and the good thing about this is that your programs are intact in that folder that mean that after you running them from that folder they install their self but you keep the original in Varius folders and them you can copy and transport to wherever you pleased or save a group for later installation in case you PC crash and you have to reformat you have your programs and CDs or another media ready to install.
