Answer: you have to look at it from a buisness perspective. microsoft knows that xbox live is all it has going for it. so to reward it's users and ty to bank new users it has to offer something the PS3 wont. so MS does everything in thier power to either seal the exclusivity rights, or at least offer extra content the PS3 cant/wont get. and the 360 is super short on exclusives given that about 90% of thier exclusives go to windows for a much cheaper price. on the other hand, sometimes developers can make moves. take a look at final fantasy 13. formerly a PS3 exclusive, now 360 gamers are getin in on the fun. why? becuase square knows that PS3 had both the regular FF 13 coming as well as 13 versus. so now the PS3 still gets an exclusive in versus, and the 360 gets to share the regular edition with the PS3. that way square stil gives something original to it's largely PlayStation fanbase, but can also boost it's sales by offering the regular to a much larger overall audience. by the way, even with all of it's exclusive DLC i've seen more copies of GTA IV traded in for 360 than PS3.

Question: Is it necessary to get the copyright of the game content developed individualy before publication? I am a young software professional and indie game developer. I have developed some contents but hasitate to send for publication . I think I should not proceed without obtaining licensed softwares and copyright of the content. An experienced guidance will oblige me.

Answer: I'm a freelance writer and I create content for a couple of area online: 1. I set up my own blogs and websites on subjects I am interested in and then sometimes use ad revenue through Google Adsense to make money with the content 2. Create content for others via bidding at freelancers' site like Elance or create commissioned content for a site like Demand Studios 3. No real get rich quick schemes though I'm afraid. Although I believe if you have a great idea for an eBook and it takes off you can make a considerable income - I haven't tried that yet!

Question: Will working in the adult industry as a Web Developer hurt my resume and future? Will working in the adult industry as an entry level web developer hurt my chances of moving on or landing a new job? Answer: Probably. Although the adult industry is "legal" it is still not accepted by society as a whole for moral, political, ethical and social reasons. Therefore, the negative potential far outweighs any immediate benefit derived from such employment. Further you may run the risk where your work becomes the standard by which you would be employed in the future and you might find yourself only able to be considered for employment as an adult industry worker whose work would be considered only in that light.

Question: Will the DSi ever be able to play youtube videos or flash content? I've been told that while many hoped it would happen, many didn't expect it to, and I was one of those who thought it might happen, but I got one anyway. But, I'm just curious, do you guys think Nintendo will ever make it possible to use flash content sites such as youtube or is the hardware just not enough for that type of thing? Or some third party developer will make a workaround? Just hopeful.

Answer: I can download and convert youtube videos then upload them onto my DS Lite using an R4 card and some simple youtube tutorials. I can't access youtube like a website though, i have to get the videos off my computer first. so no streaming options. If there is an R4 for DSi then you'd be able to do the same thing

Question: Is it possible to create something like Craigslist using Visual web developer? i have an idea for a website but dont have money to pay a programmer, so im learning php to build something similar to craigslist (not similar by contents but technically and a lot smaller). its taking time. so i was wondering if it would be possible to do it using ms visual web developer? i guess learning VWD would be a lot easier than php.

Answer: You can. It takes time and some custom encoding, but you can.

Question: Need ideas for archiving SharePoint pages and content to local server? What's the best way to archive SharePoint pages and/or content onto a local hard drive or server? I'm looking for a fast, efficient way. Currently, the developer goes to the Web page and does "Save As" and copies down the HTML. This is inefficient since it pulls down all the images, css stylesheets, etc that we don't need on our server.

Answer: For the list you want to archive, just create a datasheet view, and, when you are in the datasheet view, you can right-click and export to Excel. There is also an export to Excel button at the top of the custom list view. And, if you want to do this with file library or picture library, you can open the list in Explorer view, and you can drag and drop to a local folder that way.
