Question: What private sector job options are out there for public sector attorney with a heart and desire to serve? I love serving the public and being an attorney. I have been in private practice for over three years, and think my resume reads as stale or not up-to-speed. How can I market myself to get back in to public sector legal work?
Or market my skills as transferable to the private sector?
Thanks for any input.
Answer: There are many options. Attorney general and city/county council offices both use attorneys. There is also the possibility of hearings officers in a number of fields. If you have any employment law experience, that's in your favor.
Question: How many public sector jobs will go in order to maintain benefits for the workshy? As the total tax take from the private sector (which provides all the cash), shrinks, something has to give in order that the jobless can receive their usual benefits.
So how many public sector jobs must be sacrificed in order that the workshy don't suffer?
I am targetting this question about the deliberate jobless who have never or have rarely worked but have preferred a life in the betting shop and boozer, not those unfortunate to have lost their job for no fault of their own.
I wanna go:
The UK military budget is about £30bn/ year the welfare budget over £100bn/year.
Answer: The councils are now looking to make redundancies but i see they're not starting at the top, no indeed, those earning in excess of £120k per year are doing the weeding out. It'll be the poorer paid people who actually do work who will go first and their salaries will go into the pot to top up the pensions of the fat cats! As for the workshy - i'd soon sort them out. Stop all benefits immediately and only give them the money when they have worked for 3 days a week cleaning the streets or whatever and the other 2 days must be spent job hunting, though if you were an employer would you want a workshy on your premises?
Question: What is difference between the public sector and the private sector ? What is difference between the public sector and the private sector ?
Answer: Hi when they refer to the public sector that is the group of people who work for all government agencies, teachers, people in courts, transit people etc.
The private sector are people who work for private companies, Macy's, real estate companies, Investment companies, banks, medical professionals etc.
Question: What is the difference between working in a public sector and private sector? I know there are difference such as wage, work conditions such as hours of work etc. However in terms of reporting, following procedures, bond by legistrations...has anyone got any ideas?
I am trying to complete an application for a council and they are asking the differences between the public and private sector?
Answer: These are laws that apply to the public sector that do not always apply to the private sector.
For example, in the Uk, councils need to comply with the local government act, which private sector companies do not.
Also, reporting can be more detailed in the public sector as a Council is dealing with tax payers money and value for money is one of the key objectives of any public sector body.
Public sector bodies such as councils and hospitals get audited every year so they have to have procedures for all key processes.
Departments in private sector companies do not always get audited every year so may have less documented procedures.
Big difference is their objectives:
private sector = maximise shareholder wealth
public sector = value for money/efficient and effective services e.g. schools.

Answer: I wouldnt put ANY money into an Indian bank. The political situation is too unstable there. But heres the answer to ur question:
public sector banks can get baiout money from the government if they are in trouble. private sector banks cannot, or they can but it would be extremely difficult, the owner must have connections. Put money in a public sector bank that is large.

Also who pays for losses it makes by some other public sector companies ?
Answer: Dear Friend,
All Public Sector Companies are belongs to Government. Some are wholly owned by State Government and some major Industries by Central Government.
There again the major capital is paid by Governments and part by other Financial Institutions ( like LIC ) in certain cases.
According to the share in capital the margin of profit is divided, similarly the loss also.
The Government fund means it is the fund belongs to the people of India, paid as Taxes.
Every Indian Citizen has right to ask the details from such Public Sector Companies.
Good luck.
