Question: Inventory Clerk/Physical work at Panda Management Company? Just got hired at Panda management co. through Appleone. I'm a college student and they hired me as an inventory clerk/physical for warehouse work. What type of work will I be doing? I applied for a data entry position but got this instead so I have no clue what to expect. thanks.

Question: How much does an inventory clerk at walmart pay an hour?

Answer: It depends on where you are. Usually Walmart starts you at just above minimum wage. Then slams you with high costs for health insurance, no paid holidays for 6 months, and they have restructured so that the most you can get for each yearly raise is 50 cents an hour. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!! Walmart is changing. If you want full time and can work anytime of day, you might get lucky. They now have this thing called preferred scheduling, that means that the people who have open availability get the most hours. It doesn't matter. Seniority doesn't matter, work ethic doesn't matter...it only matters who likes you and who doesn't!!

Question: How will you qualify for the said position. Lets say inventory clerk. Please explain?

Answer: what do you mean, how will you qualify?? the ad TELLS you what they are looking for...... Lets say that they need a reliable person who is detail oriented to work in their inventory department... So you tell them what makes you reliable and list any experience that shows that you are reliable and good with details.

Question: If i get a job as an inventory clerk what will be my duties?

Answer: Receiving, verifying count. Note any shortage on frt bill. Shipping or filling orders for a job, with accuracy. Prevent theft. Prevent damage. Rotate old stock, if a regular item. Move old receivings to front of new. Take inventory counts. Prevent shortages, even by errors in paper work. Verify that goods received is yours, and not intended for another co. It happens. Verify no damage before unloading or accepting. If discovered later, report immediatly so a claim can be filed against carrier. Report low inventory when regular goods is running out, even tho mgt should see that from perpetual inventory. The records may be in error. You should receive paper work for goods on order. Verify that when received.

Question: I have a friend who worked as an Inventory Clerk in a Resto Bar? It is a policy of their company that they are not allowed to come to their working area during their DAY OFF pero yong friend ko pumupunta pa rin doon kasi susunduin nya yong girlfriend nya na nag work sa isang company near the place and he also go to the said Resto Bar for personal necessities, he is aware of the said company policy but he never thought that they really mean it anyway some of his co workers also went there during their DAY OFF, during his DAY OFF also he will be called up by his Head to come for some cause, it so happened that an incident occur the money that cost P1,000 pesos that is placed on their tip box was lost with that reason cause he used to go there he is accused by the owner, by the manager for as they've ask the guard on duty they saw my friend went there every night but the guard cannot pin point the he is really the one who took the money, there and then the owner itself issued a Memorandum to let him explain of going to work during his day off

Answer: Probably, there are unions for everything now. Unions started out as a good thing, but now they just keep the lazy and under qualified at the check line. Unions actually make the products we buy, cost more than they should. A good example of a good idea gone terribly wrong. If a person is a poor employee, they should be fired, not protected.

Question: Clerk-Retail Inventory Control? what does it do? i have no idea what do. so i was curious about it. i mean what do "they" do

Answer: Depending on the store a clerk will wait on customers, ring up purchases on cash register and put out stock. Inventory control just means that you are responsible for the stock when it comes into the store, you count the pieces in the box and compare it to the packing list to make sure nothing is missing, you may have to price the items, hang or fold and put out on the sales floor. If you are applying for this type of job you really should just go to the store and watch the people who work there or ask them what they do.

Question: What short time courses for data entry clerk? Hi I finished 12 th standard only, I may be immigrating to other country. In that country lot of Dta entry clerk jobs availabe in sales inventory etc. What type of short term course or software I should learn to be a data enrtry clerk. Hope some one can help me to be prepared for the Data entry job. Some companies say do u well versed in outlook, excel like dat software.It is confusing. Thanks

Answer: You can't practice the software unless you know what you'll be using. Excel is a safe bet since that's what most businesses use. The Stock Clerk receives and maintains stock and issues to members of staff when required. The Stock Clerk also maintains the inventory records.

Question: What career should I choose if I am interested in operations, math, and philosophy? I currently work in manufacturing in purchasing and planning as a Material/Inventory Clerk. I have an Operations Management degree. I am thinking of making a career change within a couple of years, but don't really know what to do. If I need to go back to college I will. Answer: I work for an attorney, and that sounds similar to the outift I wore to my interview. I would just accessorize to make that extra "I care about my appearance" impression. I always wear a watch because its sophisticated and business appropriate. I also try to match earrings and a necklace that are not too "busy", meaning there are not too many colors or glittery things going on. You don't want it to be a distraction. I would also suggest a nice pair of low to middle height black heels. They make every outfit look great. In any case, good luck!

Question: am i allowed to refuse to do extra work that's not in my job title? I work as an inventory clerk for a car dealership for about 2 years now, and for almost a year now i've been doing the receptionist job as well, which is fine but not when i'm super swamped with my inventory work. Answer: That's a toughie. I feel your pain, though. I myself am in a very similar position. If you are like me, what really sticks it to you is the line at the bottom of your job description that reads "Other duties as needed". That means technically, what you are doing IS your job. Doing your job as well as the jobs of others is something that many people face, but few have the power to do anything about it. You hit the nail on the head when you said it was cheaper for them to have you do it than to hire someone, and that is the reason they won't give you a well-deserved raise either. If you can afford to be without this job until you can find new employment, then there is always the option to give them the ultimatum of a raise or else, but that is a very risky endeavor. The problem with the situation is that if you refuse to do a task or threaten to quit, there is a good chance that they will just replace you with someone who will work for less money. It's a catch 22, and the only advice I have to offer is to weigh your pros and cons carefully, because the result will be a life changing event. Best of luck!

Answer: Next time plan two separate shopping trips... One for the KY, and one for the adult toys. Seeing those together gives the wrong impression. Some1 told me right click on GE clerk, click set, then in inventory right click item n click exchange or components. Then it says "that isnt an item, you cant break up into component parts. I just bought it n it says fulll helm, plate body, legs n kite shield now i cant wear it -i just started playing runescape

Answer: You have the box set right? yeah so you go to the GX click on the clerk then 'sets grand exchange clerk.' then click on the box in your invo now click on 'exchange' and it'll *unset* the box of armor..

Question: Small biz needs backup system, be able to see cust. info,inventory & sales into system? This is a school assignment: I have a small biz w/owner, bookkeeper, sales mgr., purchasing agent, sales clerks. Need some type of back-up system, the owner wants to be able to "call up info" fr/his desk when customer calls to see how much they owe. Sales Mngr. needs to keep customers up to date on products, a way to keep track of inventory on the road. Sales clerks should be able to enter sales right into system rather than paper system. Also to have own website what would then need if they also want to have all their computers be able touse same printer, etc. Thanks
